Revealed - The inspiration behind Sallu-Akki-Kat

It is a known fact that Salman Khan would be joining Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif for a special 'qawalli' track in TEES MAAR KHAN. What is not known so far though is the inspiration behind the track. Farah Khan, the director of the film, is more than happy to spill the beans.

"Do you remember 'Yeh Ishq Ishq Hai Ishq Ishq'', the 'qawalli' from BARSAAT KI RAAT which was created 50 years back? It still sounds so fresh. The 'qawalli' in TEES MAAR KHAN, though not sounding absolutely like that, is on the same lines", Farah reveals.

She goes on to add, "Of course because it is set in today's times, it has a different spice to it. Still, it isn't one of those rock 'qawallis' or 'disco qawallis'. When you would hear it, you would realise the different flavour that it is carrying. It should be fun to have Salman and Akshay come together for this song with Katrina joining them as well. With the kind of fan following that the three of them enjoy, this number is going to be a rage."

In fact quite some emphasis is being put on the way Katrina would make an entry in the song. With the first half of the song is dominated by Salman and Akshay, the young woman would arrive in the middle of the 'qawalli' and would be joining the grown up boys in all the fun right till the end.

With Katrina already impressing with her moves earlier in 'Zara Zara Touch Me' and 'Khwab Dekhe Jhoothe Moothe' (RACE), 'Main Tera Dhadkan Teri' (AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI), 'Paisa Paisa' (DE DANA DAN) and 'Teri Ore' (SINGH IS KINNG) and many more songs, it should turn out to be yet another visual delight for sure.

the r using to make thier movie hit coz of salman khan

Omg are u serious i cant stop laughing haha, so tmk was a flop but when Salman is in a song of tmk then tmk is hit and they using Salman haha, its not going to make any difference if h is in the song or not, thre have been huge buzz about tmk from the start and when a Movie have Farah, kat and akki in it theb it dosent need anyone else to make it popular. If we follow this thinking then Salman has also used others for his Movie and being human.

As far as being Human is concerned, i think its gr8 when he spreads the charity work even among his frens, so like rhea said lets not bring being human in between all these


as far as the film is concerned, it may be a awaited for kat-akki fans, for me i am just looking forward to the Sallu song, i will wait for its dvds to watch this film anyway

dont worry crystal, Salman would be the last person on earth whom we will tag a bichari, He is a Dabangg whom fans love, not Sympathy

yeah Farah is very good choreographer and her movies have gr8 songs, the last quwaali in main hoon naa was a huge hit and i think this one too will be an awesome no. to look forward.

Akki-sallu in mujhse shaadi kareoge were awesome, its gonna be a gr8 treat to watch them all together
