When DMG started in 2007, a dream was born. And like for so many, that dream was made up of Armaan and Ridhima. Of their world, their friends, their problems, their desires, their happiness. Even though it was obvious that nothing like this existed in real life or that the same situations were ever possible, all of us still dreamt. And that dream built and grew for 3 years.
I loved Armaan and Ridhima's life. They were smart professional doctors with amazing friends. The hilarious things all of them did - the fights, the lonavla trips, the parties, car drives - seemed so perfect. It was like they had their life set. But of course, the most exciting part for most of us was AR's love story. How they met, fought, fell in love, stood up against obstacles; and yet stuck through everything,
For me, their love story was always beautiful because I saw it through Armaan's eyes. And this was for two reasons - first because it's much easier for a girl to fall in love with the male's point of view, and second because I never understood Ridhima's love. I loved how Armaan was hugely flawed yet was so beautiful. And that's why I kept on dreaming.
For them to have the perfect life. By being married to each other and having such great friends around. This was every AR fan's dream.
And now with the track going on, all we see is the possibility of that dream coming true. We don't care about the hurdles nor do we care about the morals at this point of time. This dream...is so much huger than anything else. These two characters have lived and loved each other for three years. Looking at them now, one can't help but remember all their innocent moments back then when everything was so simple and fun.
The friends have gone...just like the way friendship has gone from DMG. Fun trips, advices and pranks have gone...just like the way happier and simple moments have gone from DMG. All we have left is AR's love...and that dream will keep on living until it comes true.
