If I was in Krishna's shoes then i would talk to kesar and Pratz and explain to them,
"what ever has happened is wrong and what has been done cannot be undone, we need to keep the peace in this house and avoid such future incidences where kesar has to face pain again.
on this occassion take the case back and in future if shaktia or anyone hurts kesar again i will go and put in a fir against them myself. let this be a once and for al lesson for them"
by doing this it keeps the calm in the house and as krishna is stuck between the family persons that will be resolved. safety for kesar will be maintained under krishna's guarantee.
if amma went to jail this time for pratigya then in the future he may hold it against her in his heart. at least if it ever happened again then it would be his call.
(althogh personally i feel that amma and kn should be punished - but this is my idea for the story line which will just end up getting messed up, if not stopped quickly)
this is the only resolution i can see. ....
please comment your views. because this is a very hard subject that the cv's have thrown on us.
