MNS functionaries stormed the office of Cinevistas and demanded that the production house shut down, with immediate effect, screening of the youth oriented serial DMG. Pursuant to their intervention to uphold the moral character of the characters and preventing the broadcast of a "morally corrupt" sequence, they reviewed the serial and it's tracks and have opined that the serial and it's intimate scenes are not in line with Indian heritage, culture and values.
As per an MNS spokesperson and their supporting women associations, the romantic scenes in the serial corrupt young minds and are as unacceptable as guys and girls celebrating Valentine Days. Accordingly they have given cinevistas a week to ensure fresh footage is shot and a min distance of 1 fit is maintained between romantic protagonists. It has been recommended that the production house uses two flowers nudging each other in lieu of any romantic scenes.
It has also been recommended that in place of basketball matches between scantily clad girls and boys, the serial should focus on showing traditional man woman relationships as have been defined by social norms of centuries ago where the woman serves and looks after the man who goes out and earns bread for the family. It is important that the moral fabric of our society is not eroded or damaged.
In the event Cinevistas fails to effect changes recommended, MNS spokesperson hs threatened Str One channel that it will not be responsible for any damage that the channel may incur. It has the support of hundreds of fans of DMG who are with it in it's efforts to protect the moral fibre of our youth!
