Any confusion Riddhima shows between Sid and Armaan depends on CVs' balancing act between SR fans and AR fans. For some reason CVs thought that loyal AR fans are losing interest and have stopped believing that AR may happen in some distant future, so this track was introduced. Now a lot of AR writers are trying to convince AR fans that AR will happen in future, thus making CVs' job of holding AR fans easy. If AR writers are very convincing then CVs can give a longer gap for the next romantic scene of AR (needless to add that such scenes will be shown as some accidental happening or Riddhima's confusion). A section of SR fans may not be so loyal. They are Sid's fans and may be more than willing to accept Sid with another girl. If this works out for CVs then AR is the logical end. I don't know what is in store for ArSh fans or what is Shilpa's role in all this mess.
I feel that from this point onwards only AR makes sense, SR and ArSh are very difficult to justify. But then with CVs who knows.
