iam in grade 9 and i need help geting started on coumunity service

How should i get started

should i ask my gundiance counllsero

how do i get started

by grade 12 i need 25 hours of coumunity service ........

...Wow. We need 10 hours each year. LOL Umm....you could go to the local library and volunteer there or anythere place like that. Talk with your friends, and see if they can give suggestions. You shouldn't be scared of your counseller. LOL Umm....guess you could ask your homeroom teacher if he or she can give some suggestions as to where you can volunteer.

Do you have National Junior Honor Society at your school?
If so, you will have to complete community service hours for that as well, and at our school, we're allowed to "double dip" and use the hours from NJHS for our Culminating project 😆

Some volunteer options could be babysitting...this one is the easiest. And as far as i know, babysitting is accepted as community service (at my school at least).

Best way: Join a leadership course at your school. They give you tons of volunteer opportunities. I would talk to my guidance counselor first, and then look around my neighbourhood as well!

There's usually a recreational centre for every community- that's a GREAT place to help out at ;)
