Why the parallel track with Dev?? Where's vicki?

Love watching the Maan and Geet story unfold everyday and the cvs have a great way of making us anxious everyday. Enjoy it truly and just hope the story continues to hold us the same way the lead pair does unfailingly with their great acting and charismatic looks.

Now what I do not understand is the intrusion of the character Dev into the story on such a regular basis. And that too trying to turn him into something he is not. How can we just blame his wife for all his past actions.

Why are the CV's trying to make him out to be some kind of nice guy is beyond me. We are all responsible for our own actions. Naintara might have had the plan to con Geet but he definitely made it happen. He is not some innocent person above blame that we care for him to now be apologetic and find love! Yuk! Did not even understand maan's way of talking when he comes to confess. He needs to be punished for the trauma he has put Geet through. He knew he was leaving her at the airport yet he gave used her for his own pleasure. Why should he be given a story unless the producers are trying to promote the actor who plays him. Honestly I just fwd his part!!

It would have been much better if they would have followed the Vicki track. A new character and that way there is something else legit to develop besides Maan and geet.
