Parneet Chouhan, who was last seen in Endemol and Sunshine Productions, Miley Jab Hum Tum has now entered STAR One's Geet Hui Sabse Parayi. She was also recently seen STAR One's Horror Nights. |
Parneet now plays the character of Meera, who is Dev's (Abhinav Shukla) college friend and liked him. In episodes to come, Meera will be a medium to the big confrontation between Dev and Geet (Drashti Dhami).
We spoke to Meera aka Parneet Chouhan, "I am a friend of Dev from his college days. I was in love with him, but he is still unaware of my feelings towards him. I am similar to Anjali from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. I am very bubbly and smart, but at same time I am very traditional in my views. After a long time, I am back to India from US to meet Dev. I still have feelings for him, but cover it up by cracking jokes. I am not against Dev being married to Nayantara and I don't hold any grudge with Nayantara."
Further she told us, "I am unaware about Dev cheating Geet and getting her pregnant. It's too early to comment as how will I react to this truth. Right now, I am happy to see Dev after a long time."
Meera comes across as a confident and successful interior designer, she is prompt, frank and amiable. Perneet tells us how different Meera was from Avni Gujral from Love Ne Mila Di Jodi. "Avni was very traditional and seedhi saadhi. Meera is simple yet modern. She is sensitive, but knows how to hide how she feels."
When asked what she thought of the show, she said, "The show's concept is very good as compared to other show concepts on television. I like Geet's character. Her character is very motivating and apart from this I really like the Geet-Maan's jodi a lot."
In the current track, Meera has already met Dev. Meanwhile Maan is angry that Geet hid the truth from him and curses himself for meeting her. He tells Geet that he's leaving her in this condition. Dev realises that he wants to confess what he has done to Maan, but retracts again anticipating rejection from his brother Maan.
