short update

i just start watching sangini but dont know what happened at the beginning

Hi Zeshan - welcome. Ok so story so far is R(Rudr) was a very lonley child who got no attention from his family. P(Pihu) was his neighbor gal, they becanme friends when they grew up their friendhip turned into luv. Their marriage is fixed and everything on the day of Mehndi, they have a fight. According to R's mom we understand that they fight a lot. This time though the fight is a bit serious. P has this marriage proposal from a Doc and she keeps comparing R to the doc saying doc is great and all. This makes R really mad and he slaps P. P gets so mad at R and she chose to marry the doc. R is heartbroken and goes on to become a devdas and keeps begging P to take him back whenever he gets a chance. R meets Gauri(G) and strikes a friendship with her. She runs a small shop to support her family(mom, naani and a deaf sis). By the way R destroys her shop by drunk driving. G dont know R destroyed her shop and R dont know it is G's shop. R now takes advice from G on everything. I guess he is motivated to fight for his love from something G said about fighting for what is yours. Anyway G and R gets into a fight when they come to know about the truth behind the shop destruction. Without G's advice and support R is lost and he will go to P's wedding to stop the wedding and get his love back. Thats where the mahaepisode comes in.

Everybody here has their own thoery about why P is behaving this way. My theory after analyzing all Pihu scenes is she is too practical. She loves R in her own way but she does not want to settle down with someone like him. She wants more estabilished, succesful, intelligent and sensible person than a short tempered guy who has no job, no aim etc. Think she is in a dilemma - fight between her heart and head. Now this is my theory alone, may not be true really.
