Story could have been different..

if Maan Knew that Geet was pregnant way before...

I think right now Maan is totally in love with Geet..he is crazy about her and cant live without her..so knowing her traumatic past he would accept her and we all will love him for that..

But we all thought Geet was different...as of now the status is "no Geet is not different"..why ? coz every other serial potrays its lead as sach ki devi...and given these similiar circumstances similiar thing would have happened in any other serial..the girl telling the truth to her man before confessing...

What would have made Geet even more unique would be Geet telling Maan the truth way before them falling in love ..then Maan would have distanced himself from Geet and even after trying hard he would not be able to not fall in love with Geet..whom he would see as such a strong girl fighting with the world ...

Love a woman crazily and then accepting her with her past is good ..very good...

but falling in love with a woman whose past you already know would be heavenly and take Maan to a different level..

but i know this can never happen now..

if dat was d story geet would have taken it as pity on her only not dat he loves her...... even if he shows his love for her unconditionally..... it would be like falling for her principles than for her......it would be like waiting for his perfect woman n like chasing her 2 make her his.......geet would have taken it as he is only helping her....... she wouldnt have fallen in love with maan......it would have been like showing generosity not love.....she would only respect him n not love him.....

in d story..... he feel in love with d day he saw her.......though it was more of an attraction...... slowly his love for her increased...... gradually it is turning intense....now even after knowing her past .... if he loves her unconditionally..... dat is wat true love is said 2 b......... her past doesnt affect him.... his love for her wont change......n geet loves him unconditionally too now...... so this is d right way a story can go......

That Maan ought to have been shown falling in love with her after having already known the truth.

But, Geet did try to tell him and he didn't want to hear. At that point I too felt that it was an opportunity lost to truly make Geet a sabse alag serial. Maan is after all an introspective type and accordingly, should have realised that someting truly catastropic must have led to the near-murder of geet.
But not once does he wonder, then or now.

I think the Cvs got cold feet.....didn't want to experiment that far and jeopordise the show...because there's more potential for drama in the current track. The one you are suggeting is too realistic for them and most viewers!

So, in that sense you are right....Geet is no different from most other serials today.

I agree. I too had hopes that the CVs would show something different regarding this pregnancy. Show Maan as man enough to fall for a woman for her principles, her character, etc rather than physically attracted to a non-pregnant woman.

I second that. This is an acid test for Maan's love. If it is true love, it is unconditional then. Knowing the truth and then falling in love will have a 'sympathy' factor attached. That will make Geet like anyother serial.

i agree completely....i hv no issues so far about the storyline....but i just cant bear maneet seperation...

Absolutely i agree...i think i had in one of my posts listed 5 scenarios that she should have told the truth to him...The day she finds when Maan leaves the Taveez, is THE ONE..if she strongly believes that the Taveez signifies the man in her life, and its with Maan, she should have told him then...

Also we could have been saved the silly episodes of last week where she is trying to act like a teenager just having a crush over someone. She is 18, but she has a past that makes her different from other 18 year olds...maan has told her that his life is incomplete, still she picks the petals to find out...To me that is the silliest scene and CVs mindlessly ruined the essence of Geet's character there...then comes the piece where she is on a mission to find what is in Maan's mind..overall they took the story down a path that was absolutely not needed and to top it all....the DeMellos.....if Geet and Maan are going to be together soon, then they could have shown Geet telling him the truth, moving away from his life, he is realizing that he loves her even more now, and convinces her...definitely they could have had some cliff hanger friday's in that scenario as well...


This story is about Geet and i'm not happy that her character has taken a hit in the last week...especially after HP track...that was her last chance to confide in him and she missed it....

hey aditi dont worry yaar... maan will be back with geet in no time.....he loves her too much dat he wont be able 2 bare d separation from her......his past isn't gng 2 affect her.... i hope geet doesnt see dev soon.....1 thing dat is scaring me now is ..... if dadima comes 2 know bout geet's past.... wat will her reaction be...... i m scared of her reaction..... geet n dadi share a very good friendship n deep bond....i hope geet's past doesnt affect their relationship.... i dont want dadi 2 hate geet..... i dont want this show 2 turn into a saas bahu show..... i hope dadi doesnt thnk dat geet is not good for maan now..... because she was d one who pushed them 2gether all d time.... geet didnt want 2 get close 2 maan..... i hope dadi understand wat happened ..... before dev n NT spoils her mind against geet..... maan's mind wont get spoiled.... but dadi's mind has a high chance of getting spoiled.... bcoz NT sweet talks 2 her all d time n she believes it....hope everything turns out fine.....

nooo yaar this is the track i think and prefer should have happened antimme..i agree with viji.,.nivhu,,,this is to test maan...if it was befor..ya he could fall in lov..but not this much intensity and selfless love wud be portrayed..surely...he wil now understand why geet was sooo stubborn in not opening her feelings and why she was sooo disturbed being with him even wen she wanted too...its just perfect dear now..

Test of love can happen when situations arise AFTER they fall in love...The situation with Geet is from her past and she fully well knows about the implications of telling it to Maan..he may or may not accept her...

In the name of true test of love should girls accept guys who cheat them, don't tell them that they are married?????
