i think i know what you mean .. but i would still say Geet is different ... maan and geet were never friends .. they were always boss-secy, or two people forced by circumstances to be together all the time ... half the time it was Maan running away from his feelings, and the rest of the half was Geet running away .. in the process both of them didnt know how to define their relationship though they both felt this pull towards one another ... and then the fake engagement came into picture ... and maan suddenly found a reason to exercise authority over her, or shower his love or affection towards her ...
it was only towards the end of the HP trip did they become friends ... and now geet is slowly coming to terms with her feelings for maan .. why then would she go and tell him something so important about her personal life .. cos, half the time Maan was either edgy or unpredictable .. and Geet always thought, he perhaps deserved better .. it was only when she thought she had every right to get what she wanted cos she wasnt at fault did she gather courage to go ahead ...
hence i think, she chose the right time to confess the truth to maan .. after all .. it was maan who thought she was going to propose to him... she didnt plan to do so herself .. she always wanted to tell him the truth on that given date ... she had an option to not tell him the truth as she was sooo taken in by him at that moment .. but she still did ... geet for sure is diff ...!!
