I've been feeling very down lately and your beautiful messeage couldn't come at a better time.

About 10 years ago I got married to a man. Like any young girl I had hopes and dreams for the future. His family had said to my parents that they wanted this marriage to happen because I seem to be such a sweet girl with good values and also his, very much older, sister was a good friend of my mum. They promised me and family that I will always be happy and I wouldn't miss anything in life. The marriage happened and after a while we had a baby daughter. I lived in Europe and had a European passport. He didn't. He was from Pakistan with pakistani passport. Problem started when he got permanent stay in the country I was living in. At that time our daughter was about 7 months. The situation got from bad to worse and it lead to a divorce which I initially was against. Anyway 3 months after our divorce was finalised he got engaged and married soon after. The woman he married was brought from Pakistan. Now they have two children.

Until this day I can't get over the feeling of being used. I know it's long time ago however bad memories are hard to forget. I still have to struggle everyday for me and my daughter. I did get married again and this man wasn't after my passport. He accepted me and my daughter but the marriage didn't work out because he had control issues. For his sake I had moved to another country almost leaving my daughter behind because I couldn't bring her with me. I had to fight in court to do that. Once again divorced happen, again I didn't want to, and once again I was broken and hurt.

I don't know if my story is any interesting or relevant however I would like to say is that sometimes bad things happen. But don't give up! I'm still struggling but haven't given up. I still believe that someday something good will happen. Hope keeps me up and also that there are far more people who have it lot more difficult then me.
