The end of summer is approaching in a few short weeks and the aftermath of what happened last year has changed everything. A radiant Blair and Serena are enjoying they're grand, romantic summer in Paris before they both have to return to New York. Despite they're french flings, they're amazing vacation comes to a hault when Chuck mysteriously arrives in town with a new girlfriend and a new identity. Blair convinces herself that she's sworn off Chuck forever after he slept with Jenny, but Chuck seems to be a changed man and woos Blair into having a change of heart, but Blair isn't sure if she fall for him again and wonders if she should set her sights on ruling Columbia University instead. Meanwhile back in New York, Georgina gave birth to her baby and has convinced Dan he is the father. Dan contemplates telling Rufus but he can't and keeps it a secret. Vanessa who is back from Haiti seems to accept Dan playing Daddy, but is still having mixed feeling about getting back together. Nate, still hung up over Serena, tries his best efforts to ignore his feelings by dating Juliet, a Colombia student.
