A little something I wanted to share...

The other day, when I was going somewhere, my car got the stop signal. So, while I was sitting in the car, waiting, I was looking at this very old ruined bungalow on the street corner, just like I always do when I go by that route. It was one mysterious looking house. I've been seeing it for years, no one lives there and no one ever goes there. Word is that it is a haunted mansion......But today as I was going, there was something different about the place, it had a freshly constructed fencing wall around it..... And then, I was shocked to see what was written on the wall:

"SEALED BY THE C.I.D"

Wow! I knew we had a C.I.D bureau in the city, but this was the first time that I saw their name live, like this... Anyways, this got me really curious.

Afer doing some enquiry and asking some of my friends, I got to know this. Its seems, one day a group of college friends went to that bungalow past midnight, just to get a thrill out of visiting a haunted mansion. When they went there, they were surprised to see lots of men standing in the dark with guns and stuff. And, one guy standing at the entrance shooed them away.

Those students then went and reported to the police. After investigation, they got to know that there was a lot of illegal activity going on in that mansion, in the night. They then put CID on the case. The investigation is still going on as the culprits couldn't be captured as of yet....

Those students were really lucky...imagine what could've happened to them! And I remember when I was in college, one of friend was planning to do the same thing! It is one of the most famous haunted mansions in the city. So, she was going to take us to the bungalow, just for fun, at 2 in the night!! Somehow, the plan got cancelled and my friend forgot all about it later....Phew....

Anyways, this really reminded me of a certain CID episode, maybe "Bhootia Bangla" or something so had to share it with all of you hehe

That's similar to the Bhootia Bangla episodes of CID indeed. Also seems kinda similar to the Shrieking Shack tale from HP... the tales about the house being haunted are deliberately maintained to hide the real monsters prowling inside. 😛 Secluded and lonely places like that are quite likely to house such activities. I think that college group was lucky that those guys didn't just decide to eliminate them as potential witnesses!

It would be really interesting to see the real CID in action.

Zerry are you from Bangalore by anychance???
There is one old bunglow on St. Marks road in Bangalore which my colleague recently told him is said to be haunted. Other day when we were passing by that bunglow we found some construction going on in front and I laughed about haunted story with my colleague. Ofcourse I didn't see CID board there.

Sorry for the late reply people...I'm glad you found the story worth reading.

@Demonstar - ... even I keep trying to relate everything to Harry Potter hehe...actually most of the time I'm relating stuff to CID and other times, it's HP.

And yeah I really wish I could see my area's real CID officers. But, they are always in Mufti rite? So, the guy standing next to you could be a CID officer and you wouldn't even know....and it would be terribly awkward going to the bureau 😆

@prettywomen - no yaar, I'm not from B'lore.

@Shagnika - exactly my feeling 😍

@nycsweety - seriously yaar my "supernatural" obsessed friend was really planning on taking us there for her b'day! hehe

Kay, now if this story were to go according to our current CID episodes trend, it would be like this:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CID bureau. The phone rings. Daya goes to answer it.
Daya: Kya?! Kachrein mein laash? Theek hai hum aathe hai.
Hangs up the phone.
Abhijit: Kya hua Daya?
Daya: Kissi ko kachrein mein laash mili hai...
.
.
.
CID team goes to the spot. There is a dead body of a student lying in the garbage. And, the investigation starts off....and ends with the team capturing the culprits...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I wish they'd stop dealing with dead bodies and start something a little more innovative already. It's like the creatives probably think, "Kya? Iss story mein laash kaha hai?", goes and tells the writer, "Yaar iss mein do teen laash bhi dhal na, warna maza nahi aayega"......
