Will you cry?

It started of quite funny as the three stooges made plan to kill of their troublesome second DIL....I loved Shakti's surreptious look as his parents planned the details. Amma nowadays has a special glow.....she is radiant as the sun because her mard is now orbiting around her satellite....her dearest wish come true!........They are so attuned to each other that all SS needs to do is clear his throat and flick his eyes and voila, Amma understands perfectly what he meant!.....honestly, this woman should be working for the CIA...what is she doing with SS?!

Pratigya too has a special aura around her, she is a woman in love and with a special mission - to make her husband believe in her. However, she has no worries about his concern for her....the ever vigilant husband is keeping an eagle eye on her and thus saves her from a probable death by electrocution as arranged by her dear sasurals. Krishna stopped Prats from putting the wet cloth on the wire, it was like he knew something bad was going to happen and he could not bear it.

He also could not stop his fear from showing, exclaiming that she could have been electrocuted instead of Piyasia (the unlucky maid, her only job at the thakurs is to be the stand in victim every time the Thakurs plan to off their DILs!). Pratigya did not hesitate to take advantage of her husband's fear...rightly so because in war you pierce whatever crack you see to ensure victory is yours!

She asked him 'will you cry?..will you miss me?...if I were to die'...and struck gold. krishna flinched like he had seen her dead face and could not bear it!.....few agonising moment passed as he stared white faced a this wife before leaving the room as if the hounds of hell was at his back!...His rapier thrust words had no effect on her, Pratigy smiles and knows what is truly in her husband's heart...later we see him brooding in the monsoon rain, his face lifted to the heavens as if seeking divine inspiration or blessing.

In the meantime the resident Love Guru aka Kesar, asked few pointed questions that lit lightbulbs for our educated Prats. Her cup of love runneth over and she acts lovesick, trying on her husband's shirt , looking at their picture (incidentally she is wearing the same sari as in the picture 😆).... Then she is dressing for the man she loves, putting on sindoor - a very significant act. She is showing her full committment to the marriage and to the man she is waiting for. While applying the sindoor, her eyes close as if imagining her husband putting it on......reminiscent of the wedding, perhaps.

The moment of reckoning comes when Krishna opens the bedroom door, all wet and inviting. He stops in his tracks as his eyes lit on his beloved wife dressed to the hilt, looking absolutely ravishing......(I almost expected him to ask her where r u going at this time of the night!).....He walks inside and starts undressing while Prats closes the door and approached the love of her life.

Slowly, slowly, she helps him take of his wet shirt, her hands caressing his body like a blind person memerising by touch. He finds it too explosive and closes his eyes, his whole body tense like wire. Wiping the rain from his body, Pratigya slowly comes around until they are face to face. Their eyes meet and cling like two magnets, a whole lifetime passing in the meantime. Gently Pratigya lowers her head on her husband's chest, next to his heart, like she had finally come home to rest. Her arms slid around his waist as natrual as breathing. His arms rise and curl before stopping, the effort it took could be seen in his white knuckled fists, his body quivering with the iron control imposed on it....

The moment is shattered as he thrusts her away, his rejection complete as he puts his shirt on quickly. His bitter 'why r u doing this?' and " I'm starving for your love, not your body"... resonates around the room like bells announcing doom. The anguish on Pratigy's face is met stonily. He pushes and pushes, words hurtful and angry...'think me a child'...'to hide your sin'.... till his words forced the words from her ..."I love you"!!....The flame of hope that lits his eyes was so painful to see, his body going still as time stopped for him.

By then the damage has been done and it was Pratigy's turn to lash back at Krishna with one of her famous sayings ' You are not worth my love'......for me a sense of deja vu took over as not so long ago Krishna said the same words to her.....anyway, she then gave as good as she got including some words on what it is to be loved really and unconditionally as well as the husband/wife relationship. Pratigy then packs a bag and leaves, while Krishna stands there as a white hot statue!......

For me that last bit spoiled the really special Kriya moment. As Krishna said, he understands what he is seeing (for once jumping to the wrong conclusion but he is still looking and remembering her past behaviour)......to him it looked like she was offering her body to make him forget what happened.......A vital miscommunication failure here! she forget to sit down and talk to him and telling him she loved him, instead she rushed to the 'SR' bit, Krishna off course has no awareness of her love so thinks what he is thinking hence his words...Pratigya's blurted out love sounded more like a hasty justification to him but he also wanted to believe in it. The CVs should have her utter those magical three words and then get them to talk instead of letting her loose. She could have countered each word of his accusation quite sensibly because it all came down to her suddenly romantic mood!..Don't forget Krishna stood months and months of her barbs, anger and hatred but it seems Prats does not have the same patience. He has been trying to make sense of her actions and now suddenly this!!.......I guess Pratigya reached her tolerence level but I also think this will expediate matters soon especially her leaving like that...😉

I can only conclude that the Cvs will give us a true reunion where both will be on equal footing. Pratigya once rejected Krishna, here he rejects her. The next time they meet for SR, it will be equal and no one will be rejecting anything!..The air wil be cleared and no more doubting at all.....maybe for the 200th episode?....One thing for sure, Krishna will get his wife back.😊...I really enjoyed seeing them both work in tandem to save Piyasia....it is a clue to how good a team they could be together and they do need to be one...agains those evil thakurs!😡......her brains and his brawn........😃
