No difference betweek Rashi and Koki....

Though they are showing Rashi and Koki, opposite to each other. I really dont feel there is any difference between them. Both of them are same.

1) They want their respective husband should hold good rights in business and family.
2) They want total control in their hand by hook or crook.
3) Both of them are concerned about their prestige and financial reputation in family than anything else.
4) Both of them are equally responsible for making Gopi's life misrable. Koki did that by making her arrogant son marry with Gopi and Rashi treats Gopi as servant nothing else.

@darshana23, Good post .. I would agree with you. I have had this thought before..both are ambitious and love status, money and the Modi name. Koki doesn't like that Hetal is the mota bhabi and Rashi wants to be #1 queen bee in the family. They are quite similar in that sense.

Here are the differences:
1. Koki loves her children and Rashi only cares about herself 2. Koki in her own way cares about everyone in the Modi family..Rashi only cares about herself.
3. Koki would never do anything to hurt anyone in the Modi family...I don't need to make a list of everything Rashi has done to hurt the family.
4. Koki has only known Gopi for a short time and she already cares for her. Rashi has known Gopi all her life and is her sister/cousin but she cares nothing for her.

So there are some similarities but there are huge differences too.

I too agree - they are quite similar, but I also see the differences. While I agree that they want total control, I believe their motives are different. Rashi wants it because she's a spoiled brat. Koki wants it because everyone else is in the family is so darn passive that someone's got to be in charge! Now, whether their passivity is because of her, is a different story.

Rashi is concerned only for her personal prestige. I think Koki's concerned for the families prestige.

As far as Gopi's life being miserable - While there are times that I'm frustrated with Koki, I think her motives are good. She knows her son and knows what's best for him. Gopi is moldable. Sort of. If she had a backbone it would be better. 😆 😆 Koki has got to be so frustrated with her. Wasn't there a scene where she basically told Gopi to stand up for herself?

I'm going to digress here for a moment - I've got 3 kids - 25, 21 and 14. The two older ones are pretty much on their own. There are times that I've been so proud of them and times where I have been ashamed of them. As a parent, you have been around the block a few times. You know a bit more about human nature. It's frustrating to watch your kid make mistakes. Sometimes with my own, I feel like I'm watching a train wreck and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it.

Why all the personal stuff? Because I think I understand Koki. Ahem has done some stupid things. He's acted in a way that has disappointed Koki. Gopi has not lived up to Koki's expectations. Kinjal is a mess. Rashi is a nightmare. Jigar is a doormat. So much potential from these kids and they are all making the stupidest of choices! She's watching her own personal train wreck.

And another thing. I'll let you in on a little secret. Sometimes parents, no matter how old they are, have no idea what to do in certain situations. We make mistakes too. We let our emotions get the best of us.

sorry dear but koki is far better than rashi b'coz kokila never never do nautankies like her and she dont disrespects her dewarani and she never lies like rashi who is a chalbaaz

right now i dont hve much time to reply in detail....
but form me Koki and Rashi are same only when we compare them in the terms of Ambitions, both of them are over ambitious but theie ambitions are also different.....
Rashi wants to get money....dher saa paisa, jewelery and wo bhi kisi ko bhi nuksan pahucha kar...
but koki wants only the authority on MM house and business...but nit by hurting anyone........

Rashi is fooling everyone as there is no similarity inher words and deeds....she is a perfect example of Muh me raam bagal me chhuri
but Koki says what she has in her heart,,,good or bad.........she is not pseudo persona...that rashi is....
