Hats off to you, Vru👏👏👏
What I can say is this feel more real than reel, I feel that it's happening with the people I love most... I can feel everything deep within me...the hope...ray of light is visible...I feel it's going to lead a new beginning of their lives...The happiness will cure both of their scars, and will heal the wounds that are still there from their painful past...I loved Maan's words in yesterday's epi, and you have explained every detail of his feelings...I'm dead... You have let out their inner feelings...Just an awesome piece of writing , dear😊
Absolutely wonderfully written ..

Vru you did it again! You described geet's feelings soo well - the sadness over her family, the guilt she felt for punishing them and then the joy she felt at Maan's words, at knowing how much she meant to him. That she was his world and he couldn't live without her. I love the line about it being like she had wings, as geet was never allowed to live her life in hp it was like she was trapped but she is not suppressed under maan's love, infact he is the one who has supported to achieve new heights, any manzil.
Circle in the Sand...
He had been dazed to see her barge into the conference room, without preamble. He liked her concern override her sense of propriety. He stood there waiting for her to finish her tirade; he did not know why he was always patient with her where anyone else would have enraged him. He found himself smiling at her for not thinking before she behaved in a proprietorial way; it meant she was becoming more and more comfortable with him.
His confidence increased with each moment she was voicing her anxiety for his well-being and he shut her up to excuse the staff and have her to himself. Once they were alone he could not stop himself from admiring her for running to him to ask how he was. He had said he was alright but she had wanted to know for herself that the wound was fine.
She had not been able to reconcile that the bullet that was meant for her had been taken by Maan. She had known real terror then, even more than when the sword was against her throat, anything happening to Maan would devastate her, destroy her. It was the first thing she had thought of when she had woken up fully.
She had barged into the conference room without thinking but with Maan she never did, she reacted and she did not see anyone, just him. Her apprehension for him made her blind to everything else. And she had blustered at him for not going to the doctor, for not taking care of himself, for not taking a day off.
She had only noticed the rest when he had said, "ek minute!" and she still did not feel embarrassed at being there. She did have right to be concerned about him and she was not going to back out on that.
But what she was unprepared for was the smoldering eyes, those eyes were her undoing. All bravado had left her and she had thought of leaving when she had mustered the strength to ask him if his bullet wound was fine?
He had seen her change, the minute they were alone, really alone, she had become shy and he could not resist teasing her. He had riled her further by first removing his tie, then the waist coat and then as he was unbuttoning his shirt he kept looking at her to see her reaction and he gave a half smile when he saw her look at his chest, bare of the usual vest he wore. Just as he was about to undo the last button, Geet had shied away, closed her eyes, turned around to run away; and he thought of relenting but she was too tempting, too captivating for him to let her go easy. So he had caught her hand, and pulled her back towards him as she had made to run away.
He had dared her to look at the wound to touch it and feel the heat of his skin. He wanted her touch, just like yesterday when she had gingerly touched his shoulder, he had flinched at the time in pain but this time he knew, he would feel differently.
"Kahan jaa rahi ho, Geet?" He whispered softly looking into her eyes she had opened slightly and then added, "Dekhogi nahi mujhe?" seductively misleading her.
She turned trying to keep her eyes averted but could not; she looked at his chest instead of away. He had a nice torso, she mused, firm but not bulging, taut with muscles twitching as he moved.
She gulped and then saw him even closer and heard him say, " Wahan nahi, yahan," lifting her chin he tilted it so that she would focus on his shoulder. She then looked and gasped.
"You were hurt badly," she complained looking at the bandage; the size of it gave her a fright. She put out her hand and gingerly touched the area around the bandage and Maan closed his eyes. He felt a jolt of awareness run through him. He inhaled deeply and muttered, "Geet" like a chant.
She looked at him then and was fascinated with the emotion she saw there. Maan seemed like he was in a trance. She stepped a little closer and said, "Maan, aap theek to ho, dard ho raha hai kya?" trying to divert her mind from what she saw there.
He then took her hand into his and said, "Geet, this is not pain, it is bittersweet longing you give me every time you touch me." And he took her hand and placed it on his bare chest, fingers splayed just near his heart.
"Feel that? This is what you do to me Geet," Maan purred making her hear his heart beat which beat strong and fast.
Geet stared at him raptly feeling his skin, soft yet the underlying muscles underneath were taut with strength. She caressed him and he groaned, pulling her into his arms.
"Geet, you are driving me insane," he muttered deeply almost inaudible and hugged her tight. He then slowly cupped her face with his hands and kissed her, tenderly at first and as his need took over more deeply.
Geet wound her arms around his neck responding with her own need that needed assuaging. She did not realize, she had moved to the table till she felt the edge hit her back and Maan bent her on it and kissed her seeking more access to her, her body.
Geet then came to her senses and realized they were in the conference room in the office and anyone could walk in on them.
She pushed Maan away a bit and asked him to stop saying, "Don't, don't do that. What if someone comes?"
He let her go and helped her straighten but he did not step too far away, he retorted,
"I don't care, you are my fiance and I have the right….Geet, I need you to know something…something about us… this engagement, I want it for real." He finally confessed what was in his heart.
She looked a little surprised but not affronted he realized and he pressed,
"Geet, I need you know, the truth…." He spoke looking at her. But Geet put her hand on his mouth to stop him from saying what she really wanted to hear but steeled herself to first let him know about her, the truth about her situation. Before, he said anything further, she had to tell him.
"Maan, before you say anything, I need you to know about my past, my past that will have a bearing on us. , the part of my past that will alter things. I am pregnant Maan!" she blurted out before she lost her courage.
Maan was shocked. Geet, pregnant how can that be? Suddenly Maan felt cold, a chill went up his spine. Now he knew the reason why Geet's brother wanted to kill her. Was he wrong? Had he supported a girl who had outstepped her line and failed at upholding her family's dignity?
No he must be wrong, she had said, she had wanted to side with the truth and that is why she had sent her brother to jail. His mind was whirling in circles. He had to know more.
He screwed his eyes and his brows knitted, he was thinking hard and fast trying to piece the puzzle.
He finally uttered, "Who, the boyfriend you met in Amritsar?" his voice almost devoid of emotion. He was in pain but he was trying to be logical. But he felt he was crumbling inside. She never let on before that she was someone else's. He had been wrong all along to think she reciprocated his feelings. She must love someone to carry the child.
Geet just shook her head and explained in a low but steady voice, "I was married and then abandoned. Later I came to know the marriage was illegal as he was already married. I tried looking for him and I was supposed to meet him that day to tell him about the child, but instead I met his wife who had posed as his Bhabhi and my world crumbled around me." She had overcome her grief a long time ago, today she had been at the brink of starting a new life and she did not want any misunderstanding between them.
"I am sure you want nothing to do with me Maan, after knowing the truth, so I shall go, go far away from you." she finished with no hope left in her. Her life had changed once again.
She had yet again lost everything, everything. She was wondering kyon khushi mujhe raas nahi aati, when she heard him say,
"We will get married tomorrow. You are not to say a word about this to anyone, not a single person you hear?" he told in a matter of fact tone. Gone was Maan who could melt her with his voice. Here, she saw who had been her boss, the man who took decisions and people followed them. His voice brooked no denial only compliance but Geet could not let it pass, she had to know.
She looked at him bewildered at his statement and asked, "Why?"
Circle in The Sand - Belinda Carlisle
Sundown all around
Walking thru the summer's end
Waves crash baby, don't look back
I won't walk away again
Oh, baby, anywhere you go,
We are bound together
I begin, baby, where you end
Some things are forever!
Circle in the sand
'Round and 'round
Never ending love is what we've found
And you complete the heart of me
Our love is all we need
Circle in the sand
Cold wind, tide move in
Shiver in the salty air
Day breaks, my heart aches
I will wait for you right here
Oh, baby when you look for me
Can you see forever ?
I begin baby, where you end
We belong together
Circle in the sand
'Round and 'round
Rising of the moon as the sun goes down
And you complete the heart of me
Our love is all we need
Circle in the sand
Circle in the sand
Baby can you hear me ?
Can you hear me calling?
