Get ready for yet another remake of a great case from Asha's Era. The one I had named Dowry Death. It was a 1998 cases from pre-Daya era.

as far as i remember, case of asha's friend was "the case of the dying statement". and daya was there in it. is there any other dowry death case from pre-daya era?

The one I am talking is a pre-Daya case possibly Asha's first. In this a father comes to CID saying his daughter was killed by in-laws for dowry but ACP says she gave a statement in-front of the doctors and Police that she got burnt due to her forgetfulness. But before CID can talk to the girl she dies. How CID finds the truth was very interesting. It had just 3 officers - ACP, Asha and Rodericks

Well I know but then what should I call it you tell. I will call it that. I was just trying to emphasis that it does not even have Daya sir so Abhi Sir not even in picture.

😃 Well its been CID since ACP entered. There have been lovely cases before Daya Sir came along as well and we can;t just ignore them. This Dowry case was really nice.

now thats a news to me. was there CID even before ACP entered, as well?? i m going thru CID cases of asha's era these days. i never saw any case without ACP sir and i havent seen this dowry case as well😭

One episode I can remember started like this:
Asha found one of her friend's husband with one lady in a restaurant. All CID officers were there, ACP had lost his eye sight in that time. Daya was present in this episode. The husband and the in laws hanged Asha's friend.

2nd one: It was a burn case, the father came to CID. It belongs to pre Daya era.
Am I right?

So tonight we are having the 3rd dowry case.

I would say Asha's friend's case ie THE CASE OF DYING STATEMENT (ACP was still blind in this one) would fall under Domestic Violence than just Dowry. Her husband seemed to have an affair too.
