All this talks of sitting on the throne reminds me of ancient Egypt where siblings were made king and queens where they also as practised incest 🤢
Judging from the Kala n Kishore scene, what Cvs portrayed was two people who loved each other but can't seem to see eye to eyes due to differences in beliefs. This happens to a lot couples in real life.
I don't think there is going to be any Greek tragedy here, coz the Indian tele audience would have a hard time accepting such a thing. Then again Kala's blood relation with Dutta is questionable, so Cvs have left the option open I guess.🤔

Kala is like no other puppet master behind the politician. She wants absolute power, which clearly has corrupted her to an extent that she can't seem to see anything else. Power and money can consume anyone until we forget ourselves. In this case, Kala has always played the concerned unconditional loving sister to Dutta, thus has affected him that he doesn't see her real colours nor does he see her true intentions.
Supposing if she had chosen the girl for Dutta, who she can turn into her puppet, she wouldn't react the same as she is doing with Naku.
She knows that deep in her heart that Nakku is much stronger and could change the dynamics of her relationship with Dutta. Then of course, if he has children means the money would split into many portion, so obviously she wants her constantly MIA son to inherit everything with her being in full control.

Hmmm I think I might like the character of Kala a bit more than I should 🤔😕

No, no your not alone Aisha. We're all nodding our heads in agreement. Yes the cause for her vicious verabl attack on Naku yesterday was purely as she was annoyed that she had not gotten her Bhau's undivided attention during the rakhi ceremony.

Today the seating arrangement. Lord have mercy I was alarmed. This is not natural bro-sis behaviour. I'm really genuinely concerned for her.

I actually pity Kishore when I see her act like this! It give me the major creeps so how must he feel.

You will be surprised, I have seen real life sisters, even mothers behave like that. Only those silly girls/women were just being over possessive and worried about losing their status as centre of attention.
But Conniving Kala is vicious, she is after power and control, and money. So, she wants to eliminate competition and be the 'go-to' Tayi for her Bhau.

Agree with you. Only one observation: For the Kings and Queens of ancient Egypt, it was not 'incest'. If you read their mythology, even their Gods are related by blood.
Incest may be a Judeo-Christian concept. And come to think of it, when Adam and Eve were thrown out, they had three sons - Caine, Abel and Seth. Then there is another woman call Lilith, the vamp who came to tempt Adam.
If there was only Eve and Lilith, and there were four men - Adam, Caine, Abel and Seth, and they had descendents, who flourished and forgot about God, where did these descendents come from?
So, all origin of species is from what we call Incest.
Sorry, to diverge from the topic. But I think it is an interesting way to deal with my irritation with Nakku and her irrational behaviour 😆😆

@nighfullmoon of course when you put it that way it all leads to us being bros and sis.
I think the practice is still apparent among the royal families in Europe. Most are practically related to each other in some way. There is a theory that says that the English monarch are decedents of the Pharaohs of Egypt.

In this case I am going to with Kala being a psycho sister who wants control and money....not a greek tragedy 🤢
However I do find it odd that Indian cinema tends to portray bro n sis relationship in such a strange way unlike the conventional way. Sometimes I think it's quite disturbing, I mean I have heard of stories where the sisters basically ruin their brother's life coz she happens to hate the wife.

Honestly my bro is the only boy and he has five sister including me and we clearly don't have such a relationship, maybe our eldest sisters spoil him a little but not the rest of us. If anything we fight a lot even until now out of pure sibling rivarly. 😛

Like you, most brothers and sisters have normal lives and relationships, rivalry, affection, fights, even hate. But cinema tends to portray all blood ties in unrealistic ways. Just like they go overboard with Dosti.

I just remembered Babi's words, when Nakku makes the obseration that Saab is so lucky to have such loving family and sisters. Babi says, when there is too much sweetness in a relationship, it means there is something wrong.

Hi, I also had the same theories, but I thought maybe I was being sick in thinking. I am relieved its just not me having the same thoughts. lol

But srsly I want to know if Dutta is adopted or something and hope they show this soon, since the Creatives of the show in an interview did say that LTL was an experimental show. Therefore anything is plausible.😕
