Naku's comments to Babi were Sups-like - Page 4

After watching the epi I got the feeling that Naku's behavior is an aberration due to Mahi's eye infection. Thruout the epi it was obvious that the director was trying distract attention from Mahi's swollen eye. Infact I cudnt see their usual chemistry in the room after Sethji returned the gift as Naku was mostly looking towards the floor. Even in the later scenes I think thats why Naku was hiding behind Babi and it was explained as Naku getting scared of reading what she thinks is reading in Dutta's eyes. I wish Mahi gets well soon!

BUT let's look at this from Naku's point of view!

Before the Class and Colour thing didn't matter because Dutta did not accept Naku as his wife. He married her to punish her and was not going to treat her as his wife. She was his prisoner.
So Naku being the Sherni she is after having a Pep Talk from Kishore😳 decided she's going to try and make this marriage work.
But now when Dutta has turned around and accepted their relationship and is reciprocating her feelings she's stunned.
Let's face it. She probably never thought that this would actually happen. And if she did think it she probably never thought about Kala interfering.
Kala's words were kind of a slap in the face and showed Naku the "Reality"
Plus on top of that she's feeling all guilty for keeping her face hidden.
And on top of THAT she's scared of Dutta rejecting her when she shows her True face to him.

So can we blame her for being a little insecure right now?

But this IS Dutta SriRam Patil!😉
I'm pretty sure he's going to step up and show Naku that he doesnt give a damn about the World!
Naku will be floored by his Proposal and there is NO WAY she'll say No.
She may run off after accepting cause the guilt gets to her again or Kala does but she'll come back after a Pep Talk from SOMEONE and be all Sherni again😉

I agree Aisha. And lets not forget...being told abt class barriers by your mother is one thing as its her concern behind those harsh words. Being told the same by an outsider esp the sister of the man she loves is another.

Didn't Naku say to Babi that she feared she might 'forget herself' if she allowed herself to soak in Dutta's love-filled gaze? In other words, she wouldn't be able to resist him for long now! I'm surprised that no one mentioned this! I think her hesitation in front of Dutta last night was mostly because of her fear and guilt! Yes that social difference thing is bothering her also, but it wasn't there at the top of her mind last night! While sitting next to Dutta all she could remember was Kala's taunts about how she had trapped Dutta using her innocent charm!

And I agree with Aisha that Naku too is entitled to have her weak moments...! I do empathize with her to some extent!

I don't think Mahi's eye-infection has got anything to do with the present storyline! They are just building up Naku's 'kashmakash' from which Inspector Pandey is going to deliver her! And in that gift-returning scene, I'm quite sure that MR and MV were not shooting together. MV must have taken a day or two off for her engagement...so they had to make some adjustments I guess!

I think ur rite abt MV and MR not shooting together. I think ur rite abt the gift returning scene. Also in the scene the whole family was standing and praying together they didnt show Naku. We cud just see the top of her head behind Babi. By then DSP hadnt made his entry so why was Naku hiding unless it was a dupe shooting for MV.

I elaborated a little there, but she did say that she might forget herself! Now what else could that mean?

I saw again and she did say that. I think she is still talking abt the social status thingy. That she she forget who she is and wouldnt be able to resist him.

Yeah...but she was also bothered about her secret! She was remembering kala's taunts about how she had phasaod Dutta using her innocent charm! Now, this had to happen...we were all more or less apprehending it...that she might develop cold feet and back out at the last moment!
