actually not jus in my first fam buh wider kin as well---(mostly)
though i laugh at my mum at times sayin that "my dad's name is not suniye"🤣

Yes i think it happens in all indian and Pakistani families because it's a way to give respect to your husband. my mom doesn't say suniye but she says "sunain". It was totally adorable to hear Geet adress man by saying "Suniye". LOL 😆 Yeah i might say it and i'll always think of Maan while i'll be saying it.

I m in love with today's episode..except for that AN's stuff..lol..i love how maan huged her cause that tasha came in to see wat they were doing..that was adorable...lol..but my mom dont call my dad "suniye" cause we are gujarati..but i know my friend who is a paki and her mom calls her dad "suniye" ..i think it extremely cute to say that...i would call my hubby that only wen i need a favour from him like u said..lol..

Yaa I agree it touched him.
The way mom calls my dad is "Oo yeh jara dehko to" or some times, "Oo kaha ho"
and if he won't listen to her, then she will snap loudly with his name and them my dad will tease her by saying 'she has no shame calling her husband by his name. Before at my teen age I use to roll my eyes, but now I understand this relationship and adores it.
i think i'm getting senti here. I better stop. hehehehe.

lol.....they were behaving totally like newlyweds in front of their families.........calling him in ishaara to come closer................and phus phusaing in his ear.🤣.........and that "suniye" was mindblowing.........
me too do that with my hubby.......'suniye' ........and sometimes....... 'suno toh'.....when no family around......😉

I am from a Punjabi Sikh family and mother usually says sunain. Its uber cute.

😆...no I have neva heard that first hand......and up until now didnt find it too cute either in serials/movies....but today 😍

Geet and maan just did it for me....Geets 'suniye' is just tooooo cute 😆
