Rashmi uses spare time to teache dance to underprivileged kid:-

Rashmi Desai may be negativity-personified as Tapasya in Uttaran but in real life she seems to have her heart in the right place. As per our source, "Rashmi is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and makes it a point to teach it to a few underprivileged kids in Malvani village, Malad at least twice a week."
Rashmi said, "I have a long connection with Malvani village as I have many friends who work with me staying there. In fact all of us get together and teach these children. These kids can't afford a dance class and I have seen how interested they are in learning. Some of them are such beautiful dancers that there are times when even I learn from them."
But how does she manage to get the time to teach them? "Every Sunday I make it a point to go for an hour and teach them some steps. The kids practise the same till the next session. So, it's possible to make it at least twice a month."
Some of the kids also dream to be a TV star just like her, "They are so adorable and also quick learners. I wouldn't be surprised if they do make it on TV someday. Most of them if they get into acting would give us a run for the money. They keep asking me how they could get into acting and reality shows and I keep telling them all in good time."
