Kala's Past Sins--Seema cheating?

I think the CVs are finessing and finessing the Kala character--from evil and snobbish TO just plain crazy with a touch of snobbery thrown in.

Her obsession with Bhao could not have developed just like that. It had to have been lifelong...or a long time in the making.

It would not surprise me if she had something to do with Seema's betrayal of Dutta. E.g. I could totally see Kala putting ideas into Seema's head about how pretty Seema is, how lucky they are to have her as the girl Bhao has chosen, how much Seema loves their Bhao, despite all the hardships. And how much she, as his eldest sister, appreciates the sacrifice Seema is making for love...little money, no future prospects. Perhaps, Kala even goes so far as to dramatize how she and her family have had to struggle. Seema, being a spoiled and greedy girl due in part to her awareness of her looks, was probably made to think twice about Dutta.

Or Kala would have brought Seema to the car repair shop to "visit Dutta", but moreso to catch the owner's eye. Hence, she probably purposefully designed the whole affair.

I bet you we are in for a lot of surprises with Kala's actions in the past...and I think the CVs can have a field day with the possibilities.

the CV's will surely develop kala's character and will make her more evil...
however i doubt if she must have done this..when seema was there in dutta's life, dutta was not as rich as how he is now..so i dont think that she must have had that strong desire to be rich at that time..though im sure she had hatred for dutta and would have wanted to use dutta to her advantage. at that time even if dutta had married a girl it wouldnt have effected their financial position much than NOW!!..

i think this evil nature increased after dutta became rich and started earning...but if we have seema again in future then kala will surely play an imp role there...what say?

Seriously I don't get it with these Indian cinemas and teles showing such a weird twisted bond between brothers and sisters.

Kala orchestrating the Seema betrayal is highly possible. Only then the real reason for her obsession with Dutta will need to surface as back then they were not affluent that she was scheming for money/reign over the household. I'm curious how they are going to justify her inability to see him happy.

But she has definitely mastered the art of mind manipulation after years of practice on her Bhau and sisters. For instance in the case of Roops, I believe that she plays along with her sisters for lack of anything else to do or like the saying goes 'if you can't beat them, join them'. I think Roops sucks up to Kala to avoid being a victim herself.

Fuzzyface mentions a good point that Dutta needs to let Kala sulk. Her opinion and approval matters too much to him.
