Maan's defense mechanism can be so ruthless and cutting at times. Maan knows that geet will forever be his heart's greatest weakness. Her rejection caught him off guard and her " mujhse door rahiyay " kills him, because he has no control over himself or his actions where geet is concerned. He is absolutely crazy about her and it drives him insane to think that she does not feel the same way about him.

He also feels cheated - several reasons; the hot and cold vibes from geet, his self proclaimed rights on HER. she is his, only his. no two questions about it, his frustrations at " woh khud tua mairay sath sath hoti hai aur mujhe khud say door janay ko kehti hai (When he wipes the lipstick off)

How fascinated are we with this character - his compulsions and addictions. He fascinates me and reminds me of my own youth and in him i find my own Maan. ( All ready to tear me apart because i have been spending wayyyyyyyyyy too much time drooling over the fictional one) thats my attraction to him. He makes me feel young and carefree- daredevilish if you may, makes me feel in love not the real one but the reel one. Cuz after a while you get bound by schedules in life and he reminds me of a time when there were no schedules, no responsibilities, just an 18 year old with a huge crush. muaaaaaaaaaahs to the creator of this character.

Lastly, i found this quote and even though its OKAY, i find it so apt on geet and the way she falls everytime maan is around her.

I try falling out of love, but falling out of love
means falling into someone else, and you were

he might use Dadi as an excuse, not like he hasn't used her as an excuse before? But Maan is pure at heart, he is no Dev and he might be Tairrha but his heart beats for her and to use her for any purpose other than to attain his love or keep her with him would be beneath MAAN SINGH KHURRANA.

so true...my romantic soul cannot take it if he were to use her...i would kill him even if i love him..and yes..he does make you..free young, carefree...one who..can relive..their youth through him...

i love this character...and his complexities...yet he is so simple underneath..he knows what he wants and he makes no compunction to use any means to get it...and he knows Geet will leave if he did not take a drastic step and he is willing to do just that...

No no he is not using her, Im sure before Pari left she told him about Geet's feelings and he will always be there for Geet! Yes, he told her to leave, but when u love someone u set them free and if they come back it was meant to be!

Now that Pari is gone, he demands Geet to be his mangetar for a put on in front of Dadi, but to him its not fake. I think geet will refuse and that's when he picks her up to present her to Dadi as his mangetar.

We must remember Maan truly loves Geet, he just needs to figure out why she is not responding, he may become mean towards her, but this might make her crack about her past. Anyway they going to HP now and the story will move on, Im sure her past will be unraveled here and then we will see the real MSK and he will become relentless on finding out who did this to her!

In the promo he says he will go to HP with her, jhoota hi sahi, ab mein tumhara mangetar hoon! Fake or real, he is still her mangetar and he will be there for her cause he knows Geet will not be able to handle HP all by herself!

One advise for Dev and NT, they better start running!
