NOTE: A VERY LONG POST...PLEASE READ AND POST LATER.😃
Today, Krishna unleashed his hurt and pain on Prats who didn't know how to handle her husband's unfamiliar behavior. Kesar was anxious about Arushi coming to the Niwas as Katra Naresh drooled at the chance of a lifetime to get his paws on the Saxsena girl. Saxsenas were excited at the marriage proposal from lawyerwa Mathur.
Aman asked Prof for Arushi's hand in marriage. Nainaji and Dadi were pleased, Komal seemed pleasantly surprised, Shamu and Adarsh were confused. Aman promised to give Arushi all the happiness in the world. Expressing his willingness to wait for their answer he left the Saxsenas to deal with the proposal. The family was thrilled and there were smiles all around, even from Shamu. Oops! A storm is brewing and they are oblivious to it at the moment as always. Arushi didn't understand any of it. Achcha! Problem solved! If you don't know anything about marriage, it's better you wait and not rush into it. Even your older sister has just realized pati-patni rishta kya hota hai.
Krishna walked into the bedroom after freshening up and Prats brought him some milk. She gave him a patronizing talk about him it being good for his health and Krishna didn't like it one bit. He was simmering like a volcano ready to explode. But Prats wasn't tuning into it. Krishna dropped himself into a chair and started sulking in earnest, still miffed with his wife. Prats told him to stop being stubborn and drink it as he was weak. Krishna was in no mood for this kind of talk. He wanted her to stop the charade and asked if she was trying to step in and be Amma in her absence.
Prats was hurt by his taunts and attitude. She let him know that his well being and happiness were most important and Numero Uno in her life. She didn't take a cue and back down. Instead she wanted to know why he saved her life if he was so unhappy with her. Krishna threw her a counter punch and said it was all out of humanity and he would have saved even if Angad had been in her place. Ouch! A googly zinger! Saadhu mirandal kaadu kolladhu. Krishna had hit bull's eye with that one. Prats was truly hurt at that barb he threw at her while Krishna seemed to derive some satisfaction from seeing her feeling hurt. After all anger or should we call it rage was what Krishna had in him to give Prats at the moment. It's time for her to let him vent it all out and not push back. The time for that will come a little later.
Prof. couldn't believe that Aman had proposed out of the blue. He wanted Arushi to think it through and decide bec' it was a matter of lifetime commitment. Komal felt it was all too sudden that he came, he proposed and became damadh in a jiffy and left. She wondered if there might have been something going on between the two chupke chupke. Arushi proudly said that in her family she was given so much freedom that there was no need to do anything on the sly. Komal told Shamu that his trip to the jail reaped some benefits after all, a damadh who came on his own and asked for his daughter's hand. O, ho! Saxes are happy. Take cover! The storm is fast approaching, don't know if it will be a tsunami just yet. Something is going to blow sky high!
Kesar was in pain and Prats asked her to rest. Just then Nainaji called Prats to let her in on the news of Aman's proposal. She even inquired about Krishna. 👏 She offered to send Arushi to help her while her sasural were away as she may have her hands full talking care of Krishna and Kesar. But Prats was unsure. Sakthi overheard the conversation and approved of Arushi coming over to help Prats. Kesar was repelled at the idea and knew her husband's agenda way too well while Prats looked a bit suspicious at Katra Naresh's willingness to let her sister come over to stay. Katra Naresh smirked with satisfaction as Kesar watched with disgust at his satisfied look.
Prats walked back into their room and noticed Krishna had left the milk untouched. She excitedly shared with him the news of Arushi coming to help her. With no sasural and just four people at home what was the need for help from Arushi? Couldn't Komal have come instead it's after all her home and she is safer there with Katra Naresh roaming free like an animal in heat instead of sending an unmarried Arushi over when Prats and Krishna already knew he was making advances on Arushi on two separate occasions (sangeet at Krishna/Prats wedding and the fake pregnancy). She also gushed about a proposal for marriage from Aman. Aman was a good lad and he would keep Arushi very happy and they would make a rocking couple When she was done she noticed Krishna couldn't care less about Arushi or Aman. She inquired Krishna if he was not happy with the news. Huh?Prats, dear girl, please learn to read visual cues esp. when it comes to your patidev can't you see he is in a foul mood. You are gushing while he is seething inside and ready to explode any minute now. Krishna sarcastically replied that he was as educated as her family he would fit right in and that should make them very happy. Ouch! He wanted Prats to tell Arushi if she had any secrets to come clean with it to her fiancee before the marriage instead of keeping him in the dark cos' no matter how educated a man he wouldn't tolerate an unfaithful wife. Krishna watched to make sure the barb had hit it's mark. He was not ignoring her but lashing out at her, and as cruel as it may seem it is far more healthy than claming up and shutting her out. Patience Prats, you made your bed by hiding the truth from him and now you are going to have to lie on it and take it for a while. Meanwhile Prof. unawares is all smiles after ruining his daughter's marriage with his behooda idea.
Nainaji told Arushi she should go and stay a few days with Prats and help her as Krishna was recovering and her sasural were away and Prats was tending to Krishna and Kesar. Komal told Arushi not to become a "kabab mei haddi" in Prats's life. Dadi wanted Nainaji to be sure that Prats didn't get accused of doing what she pleased when her sasural were away. Nainaji happily assured her that Katra Naresh had overheard the conversation and approved of Arushi's arrival at the Niwas. Prof. seemed pleased. Uff ho! You are supposed to be concerned about sending your young unmarried beti into the den knowing there is an animal prowling on the loose. How soon you forgot his advances towards your daughter on two occasions. Sniffing his fingers Katra Naresh was already drooling at the opportunity to get his hands on his devrani's behein way back then and he didn't hide it. Running away would have safer for Arushi.
Kesar offered to help Prats in the kitchen but Prats told her to rest instead. Kesar subtly tried to tell Prats that they could manage the home together on their own and there was no need for Arushi to come. Sakthi overhead Prats tell Kesar she hadn't invited Arushi but that her sister offered to come. O, ho! Wrong thing to say Prats, the walls in the Niwas have ears, or didn't you know it? KN told Kesar that when a woman is pregnant her sister comes to help her at her sasural and since she didn't have a sister she should let Arushi who is after all like a sister come and do her duty as a saali. Prats was a bit suspicious and Kesar was nervous knowing what KN had planned for Arushi. Ok Kesar! Listen up lady! No more excuses, time for you to put your foot down and voice your concerns to Prats immediately instead of beating around the bush with covert suggestions. Can you live with yourself if KN followed through on his plans? Alas, guess the POPs didn't have it in your script, so your hands are tied. Ab samaj gaye!
Krishna continued to sulk and simmer in anger. But Prats was still clueless after all the barbs he just shot at her earlier. She talked to him like he was a five year old about not having showered. She even put a bib on him and happily settled down to feed him some soup. But Krishna wouldn't have any of it. He yanked and flung his bib and told Prats to stop the pretense bec' he was capable of feeding himself. She asked him what the harm was in letting her feed him. Prats get a clue girl, don't stoke the fire already blazing inside himit's way too much for Krishna at the moment. She told him to open his mouth like a good kid.😲Are you kidding me? Prats get a hold of yourself girl, stop patronizing him and cajoling him like a kid can't you see he is a like a bull with steam coming out his ears right now. Back off and give him some space to simmer down. Krishna obliged and let her feed him some soup. He spat it out immediately and acted like the toddler she was treating him tipping the dishes off her hand that send it flying and the soup spilled on the floor. Did anyone else think of the SR#1 when he tried to put the necklace around her neck and she flung it across the room? Role reversal here?😲 He said the soup tasted so awful that it could kill. Ouch! Prats offered to make him something else if he didn't like it. He said she couldn't cook so making something else wouldn't matter. Ouch! There you go again, Prats. Let him vent, he will get it over with sooner and it will be easier on you. He is testing you to see how real your new attitude to him really is? The more patience you show him the faster he is going to heal from his hurt and pain.Don't argue with him, you will only make matters worse.
Preview:Katra Naresh reminds Kesar that she wanted him to leave her alone bec' she was preggies and neither did she want a kotewali coming to the house to which he gave in. Sleaziest guy in town! So why was she having problems with Arushi coming to the house now? Does Kesar even understand the line of thought her sorry excuse for a husband is leading her down?
P.S: Since the day Krishna met Prats he put her needs ahead of his own. After marriage he showered her with love in spite of the hatred she spewed on him. He kept on giving her love when she battled it with her hatred. She took his love and gave him little in return. The tables have turned on her now. Now it's time to give him more attention, affection and even love while Krishna is unleashing all the pain and hurt that is roiling inside him. At the moment that is all he has to give to her. After all one can only give what they hold inside at any given moment in life. Prats has to weather the storm with patience and be the palm tree that sways in the wind but never breaks. While she is at it she needs to pay attention to his moods and stop treating him like a nitwit or toddler.😕 Stop patronizing him, it will only fuel his rage.Kesar's got to do something now before you find it hard to live with herself. KN has crossed all limits of decency and she knows he is drooling at his first and only chance in a lifetime to get his paws on Arushi who is like a sheep headed to the slaughterhouse, clueless and stupid to even give the idea of going to the Niwas after she knew KN wanted her to show up. Nainaji is even more clueless after the way she saw him leaning on Arushi like a cheap suit during Krishna's wedding sangeet ceremony. If she is so dumb not to catch on to the clues, is she ready for marriage? 😲
Does Prats need to bring Arushi to the Niwas while Krishna is sulking and venting his anger and pain on her? This is the time for some privacy to understand each other's emotional needs not to ask her sister's help when there is nothing else to do at the Niwas anyways. Wake up Prats, be present in your own life girl.😕
Achcha, bolbo now!😃
