she was aware of his pain before d diary case also but she didn't show as she is d one of a type who only see wat she wants to............she was very well aware of armaan's possessive behaviour for her during dere relationship wid him...............so we can't agree dat she was not aware of d pain armaan was going through..............it was just dat she didn't want to accept it till diary incident...........
d things armaan said to sid coz dey have to start from something.............dey were married but not at all comfortable after d lonavla incident..........he wanted to show riddhima dat dere is somrthing common between dem........

it has nothing to do wid him understanding riddhima............
armaan n riddhima both understand each other more than anyone else
