Yes their childhoods are similar, but more than that, their current situation is very similar. Both are lonely, desolate and craving Riddhima's love. Plus nobody knows how they really feel. To the rest of the world, they try to put on this persona, but inside they are very sad and filled with pain.
Hmm yes ArSh can support each other indirectly, like they have done before, and I'm sure they will. I see them bonding in the upcoming track, be it directly or indirectly as you said.
