Customs officials seize Dia Mirza's car

Customs department officials have seized an imported car belonging to Dia Mirza in a case of alleged duty evasion, department sources said on Tuesday.

Suspecting duty evasion Customs seized the actress's Land Cruiser and summoned Dia to Mumbai to record her statements.

The actress, who is in Goa at present, would appear before the Customs department soon, the sources said.

Earlier, customs Officials seized imported cars of Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan , but returned the vehicles as they paid necessary duties.

Recently, an imported Land Cruiser of Sushmita Sen was also seized by the department on the charge of tax evasion.

And last year, Sanjay Dutt had surrendered his Porsche car to the DRI after they had seized Sunil Shetty 's Hummer vehicle on similar grounds.
