I have loved all Maneet scenes ever since this show started. And I admit I have drooled over all the eyelocks , fainted over all ear-ring threading scenes...etc etc.....
...But while I applauded many scenes , the one that I cud not somehow write about but one that remained etched in my heart most closely was the scene near the window in hum-tum scene , when Maan come close to Geet and asks in a soft voice "Tumhari zindagi mein ek ladka tha na ? Woh jise tumne mujhe le jaane ko kahaa tha..." ...and they have a simple, soft , yet so close and heart touching conversation about her past , which brings them much closer ,makes them understand each other so much more, very softly , ver tenderly ........And remember that was at a time when Maan was otherwise very harsh... not the "softy" of today...
I thought that scene was very well executed and one of the most beautiful Maneet moments ever....in the sense that they were actually having a conversation and close to each other's hearts, as it were....
What wud I not give for that closeness to come back again in that form ... especially now that there is so much of their pasts accumulating between them ! What wud I not give for a lovely husky voice of Maan again asking her so caringly and her quiet , steady voice almost unspeakingly saying out everything effortlessly .... as if their souls were in connection and communicating and each understood the other perfectly.....
That wud be so beautiful...That wud be our Maneet - truely a class apart ...flowing in their love....not falling into any cliched roles.......creating their own history ....by understanding and accepting each other as few did before.... and we cherish their love for ever more
