August 17, 2010 Written Update
Jyoti notices the drop of blood and at once grabs Asha's bloodied hand. Kabir is shocked and Asha explains that when the cup fell, she got cut and that's all. She glances over to Sumer, which Jyoti notices. Kabir and she leave, still seeming suspicious. Sumer pulls Asha's hair for giving Kabir-Jyoti blessings at all. Downstairs, Kabir-Jyoti take blessings from RP. Chachi asks her what sweet she is going to make, and Jyoti says moong dal ki halwa since it was her dad's favorite. RP tells her to think of him as her dad from now on.
In the kitchen, Chachi explains to Jyoti that bahus of this house spend less time in their bedrooms and more time in the kitchen. She tells Jyoti that cooking should be easy for her since she never had servants in her maayka anyway. Jyoti begins preparing the halwa. Meanwhile, Chachi and Sumer ask RP what he is going to do about Jyoti. Sumer suggests putting poison in the halwa. RP yells at him and says that now that Madamji is watching over Kabir-Jyoti, he cannot harm them. He tells that now he has a feeling they are about to find something out.
Kabir tries waking Vikrant up, but in vain. Jyoti tries and Vikrant wakes up right away. She offers him her halwa and he praises it a lot. Jyoti reminds him that he'll have to marry the girl of her choice soon, and so he should start waking up earlier. He tells her he had set an alarm on his phone but can't find it. He borrows Jyoti's phone to call his own. He finds his phone under the pillow but reads 'aafat' or 'problem' on the caller ID – the same one he had used for the woman helping Rashmi. Vikrant understands everything and leaves the room to double check. Kabir and Jyoti follow him outside and ask if he's ok. Vikrant hands her back her phone and assures her.
In their room, Jyoti tells Kabir that she wishes she could give him something as good as the drawing he made of her. Kabir hugs her, saying that the best gift is her. He tells her that they should gift Rashmi something. Jyoti inquires why he brought up Rashmi, and he explains that Rashmi after all is the reason they are together now.
Chachi finds Vikrant distraught. He explains everything about Rashmi to her, and says that now he realizes Jyoti is with her too. Chachi yells at him for destroying her dreams, and asks why he had to marry Rashmi at all. She tells him that now she will fix all his problems, and she'll start by going to Jyoti's house to meet Rashmi. End.
