We ARians will agree to the leap if .... if Ridzi goes after Sid to tell him she misses him ... and finds him with another girl. She then does her trademark 'naak pe haath' and 'running' bit, and then leaves him. Armaan falls in love with Shilpa and they're singing "main pyaar ki pujaaran, mujhe pyaar chahiye" when Armaan starts singing 'Haan mein ne bhi pyaar kiya hai' and Shilpa finds out about AR. Shilpa is heartbroken and jilts Armaan. And in the 'ghum' of first Ridzi and then Shilpa's rejection, Armaan loses all hope of ever finding love and goes to find his buddy Sid.

Meanwhile, Shilpa now hates Ridzi for destroying her lovestory before it started, and Ridzi hates Shilpa for snagging the guy she didn't have, in half the time ... So the only jodi we get ... is Armaan adn Sid ...

THEN, we see teh 6 month leap ...

Chalo ... now I'm ready ...
