Mohit Sehgal, fondly known as Samrat of 'Miley Jab Hum Tum', has a high fan following. Mohit made his debut in this industry with the film Delhi Heights (starring Jimmy Shergill and Neha Dhupia) with a character named 'Vicky'. But there he could not make a significant mark. Afterwards his fate took turn towards television and there he tasted success and glamour. The small screen took him to the place for which he had come down to this industry.

Even though there are people who claim that he is a 'single-expressioned actor', his die hard fans do no think so. And apart from his fans, even his co-actors don't think in those terms. One of his co-actors from the team said under the condition of anonymity that initially when he actually came to the show he was very shy kind of person. But after getting himself into Samrat's character, he has changed himself into very funny and happy-go-lucky person. Now he has learned to get along well with all. He is a darling to all.
