Competitions:

1.Ananda Ragam Contest:
In the year 2004 November 2nd to 5th. Conducted by the team of Anand (movie),
Stood 1st among 600 people.

2.Relax songs competition:
Was conducted by Mr.Ramanagogula Garu. In the year 2005.
Result: Stood 2nd.

3.Radio competition Voice of Andhra:
Was conducted in the year 2005-06 by Fm radio.
Result: Won the title Voice of Andhra.

4.Sangam Kala Group(Delhi):
Was conducted in the year November 2006, by Hero Honda .
Result: Stud 1st regionally and went to Delhi for nationals.

5.Sye Singer's Challenge:
Conducted in the year 2006-07, by Etv.
Result: Finalist

6. Voice Of India :
Was conducted in the year 2007 (March ) by Star Plus.
Result: Was in the top 18 i.e till the 4th round.

7.Okkare:
Was conducted by Etv in 2008.(June-December)
Result: Won the title "OKKARE"

8.Classical Programs:
Annamaacharya project conducted in the year 2005-06 (Tirupati),also giving classical
concerts given 15 to 20 so far.

Play Back Singing:
Started play back singing at the age of 17, after winning the Anand Raagam Contest.
So far have lent my voice for 18 movies and have sung 35 songs, also have done a
Hindi private Album (titled HUM).

Have sung for 10 devotional albums (Names) and did many jingles.

Stage Shows:
Started performing at the age of 8.
Till date I have done about 40 stage shows including classical and filmi music.

I think Sony handpicked him for participation because Indian Idol has not been getting the same kind of talent as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Just look at the singers in SRGMP singing superstar starting this week.

He is obviously not raw given the long list of awards......... But why did'nt he participate in II 2,3,4 if he has been on the circuit for so long.Was II not good enough for him as a platform? Was there some kind of an understanding between Sony and Sreeram before II5 started ? !!
