I'm writing this after seeing some really disturbing comments, topics and messages on various places that are targeting the actors and characters on the show.
DMG and it's cast is a youth based show and the cast and crew have always been so accomodating when it comes to interviews, messages and fan appreciation/interaction.
I can understand the sentiments of all the fans be it Kajens, Kashians, Sidmas, Kasuians, AR, ArSh, JeRan and all the other fans out there. We watch a show we fall in love with the characters and jodis and we want them to stay together because we identify with them.
However at times things and stories change, people leave, creative writers go crazy and us fans are left heartbroken.
What i fail to understand and perhaps its a lot more visible in this forum from what i've seen is why do people think it's ok to bash and attack an actor or the character that they are portraying and being told to portray.
I'm a Bidaai fan and a die hard RagVir/Saalekh fan we don't have our jodis anymore and we are upset too but we try not to go around and bash people who might appreciate Apporva or the Angani jodi.
It's sad to see all of this and with the Star One media ban i'm thinking that perhaps the actors are also not happy with interacting with the media in regards to the tracks and characters and what's happening.
When people bash and or comment negatively about an actor or character do you not think what they might think or feel when they find out. We've heard from KSG, Jenny and KW and maybe Shilpa (i'm not sure) that they are aware of ALL the feedback and have stated that people shouldn't take it to heart.
It's a fictional show and we have to keep that in mind. I mean what if the actors decide that all of this negative feedback is not worth the hassle and they decide to quit or do another show. Then what.
We're fans of the show and we want them to be proud of us, they give us their time and effort and they try to reply to our messages whenever they can and people repay them by bashing and being rude or abusive.
I feel sorry for the mods of this forum truly, and it's a shame that people just can't seem to understand simple rules.
If you have a favourite jodi or actor fine, appreciate them, love them but just because your actor or jodi isn't onscreen then please don't think that is reason enough to be rude or abusive.
Campaign for them but in a constructive and polite manner.
Just because another actor or jodi is more appreciated or getting screen time doesn't mean that the other ones aren't appreciated.
We need to all just calm down and stop with these constant battles.
If you have an opinion then discuss it in a constructive way, be polite and understand the sentiments of all the other fans also.
And for God's sake stop being so rude and abusive to the actors especially Jenny, Karan W, KSG and Shilpa.
All four are such nice people they don't deserve any of the fans of any of the jodis to be rude towards them.
And most importantly remember it's a FICTIONAL SHOW....there are much more important things in life.
Sorry for the long post, didn't want to preach but it's disturbing to see all this hatred and abuse amongst fans
I can understand that some fans are really attached to the show and characters from day one and now want it to end. But what about those of us who are still enjoying it. If you don't enjoy the show then don't watch it, it's as simple as that. Why go on missions on trying to end the show or kick actors out.
Some have commented that the actors should realise the sentiments of the fans and not act out the character....Yes they should because the fans make them who they are but you're forgetting they are also answerable to the Creatives and it's their job to act out what they are told to do.
Some fans have said how AR has taught them to love and etc etc. You're forgetting that this is reel life. Real life is so much different, i'm a little older and have experienced a few things and can say that in real life things are not like what we see in films and tv unfortunately, as much as i once believed in it being like that.
And i think if a show can illustrate a sense of reality then that's good and in my opinion that's what DMG has done to a certain extent with the introduction of Sid and Shilpa.
