Chapter 12
Krishna woke up early at about 9, which was a first for him.He was wondering what Chandu had been hiding, he has to find out. Right now, he would be gtting ready for work (he leaves at 9-9:30) so this was a good opportunity to go to his place and check whats been happening with Chandu's mum. Only those two lived in the house, and his mum thought of Krishna as his own.
He phoned Tunna up; they decided to meet each other between 10-11am. He was going to be home alone today, unless Komal comes back, he thought. He still coudnt believe that his own younger sister thought he was wrong about everything. She took that rotlu's side which upset him the most.
He checked the time again, half an hour had passed thinking, finally decided to get ready. He took a shower and came out, put deodorant on him self; he felt as if someone was moving behind him. As he was standing in front of the mirror, he moved slightly to see who was behind him and got the shock of his life.
Rotlu?!.....crawling on my bed? Huh am i seeing right ?
He thought he was dreaming, closed is eyes and shook his head ...and opened his eyes again
"TUM?😕"it was her!
They had a little confrontation, where she was begging for her Iphone back.
However he coudnt stop looking at her, silently flirting with his eyes.
God she's so beautiful, absolutely perfect. For the first time, his conscious didn't speak back to him. I wonder what she is thinking.
She was doing crazy things, jumping up and down trying to reach her phone. She got on top of the bed, leaned on him to grab her phone. Krishna was lughing inside, Damn this girl is crazy hahahah.
He moved out of the way to see what would happen, she started falling, but before she could he moved forward again to stop her from falling. She ended up leaning against his bare chest!
They both were staring at each other....Krishna was in a trance; he couldn't believe how beautiful a girl can get, though he would never admit it to anyone.
She then moved away. She again tried to reach for her phone, but he grabbed her hand and twisted it around so that her back was against his chest! She let out a little yelp in surprise!
He started to check her messages, it had nothing on it. Smart girl!
He looked over at her, "well then are you going to tell me why you are here?"
He didnt know what happened the next second... "umm ok so i dropped komal back home and i met ur family and then they went somehwere and komal went in her room and she told me to look around because i liked the house so much, so i did , so all other doors were locked besdied this room and i thought it was komal because she said she will be back from her room,i thought it was komal in washroom so i waited for 10 mins then left and forgot my phone here and came back to find it was you, half naked"
He kept staring at her move her mouth, but he couldnt hear one word at all until she said "half naked"
so she noticed my body "whats your name?" he asked suddenly so randomly. Funny i don't know her name?
She twisted her head so she was facing him slightly; they were about an inch apart. He studied her face closely, starting with her lips, they were very pinky and looked up to her nose which were perfect and then her eyes. wow she has sky blue eyes, and it looks so angelic!...
They were staring each other eye to eye without blinking.
"ummm...why?" She asked, she looked so confused.
"tell me your name and ill give your phone back" He tightened his grip, he could tell it hurt her slightly, but he kept on looking at her intently. He was eager to know her name now.
"owww...How do i know you wont do what you did before"....He was thinking....then he finally said "i give you my word...now tell me"
i don't know what's happened to me all of a sudden, why am i so eager to know her name,
"Pratigya" she said.PRATIGYA...absolutely beautiful,
"umm can i have it back now"
"have what back?" He didn't know what she was talking about for a little while.
"umm my iphone, what else" she said angrily..."why do u keep forget...."
She coudnt finish her sentence because he let go off her arm and turned her around so she was facing him and slid his hand down her arm to her hand put the phone in her hand.
"umm okay thank you," pratigya said shockingly.
He nodded in understanding and kept staring at her.
Krishna went back to fixing himself in the mirror, he was looking at Pratigya through it..how she quickly put her sandal on and walked away.
Is tunna actually right, am i falling in love with with Pratigya? Before he could think anymore, his phone rang it was Tunna. Speak of the devil!😆
He told Krishna that he is waiting outside in the hall and noticed a girl standing there. "girlfriend he kya.....gf rakhi aur bataya bhi nahi...bhai...."
Hes here already?? Must be pratigya
" arre chup kar, wo meri kuch nahi hai......ok wait 10 minutes im coming" He wanted to see her again.
He quickly put on some jeans and a shirt and boots. He checked the time; he was ready in less than 5 minutes. He ran over and found Tunna sitting on the couch watching TV. He rushed over to Tunna, "kaha he woh?"
Tunna looked confused, "kaun bhai?"
Gosh, hes so stupid sometime. "pratigyaaaaa"
He was still confused, "vhaat, ye kaun he ab?"Oh shit, he doesn't know her name does he, he has only seen her.
"oh oops, i mean wo ladki, you know jis ke bare me baat karta hu aur tumne abhi use dekha" Krishna explained to Tunna.
It was like it finally hit him, "oh wohh, to ye he wo ladkii...Komal ke kamre me gayi...kuch baat kar rahi thi, dancing costume ki, pata nahi kya..." Hmm must be for Komal's performance after 2 weeks.
"lekin bhai tum kyu puch rahe ho, itne interested kyu lag rahe ho...Koi maamla he kya?"This time Krishna didn't get angry, he just winked and laughed.😉😆
"muje pata tha, i knew it bhai...you are in..."
He didn't get to finish it off, Krishna interrupted him, "abe chalo...Chandu key wana jaana he, pata laga he ke nahi..."
Unnoticed by both of them, someone was standing by the side listening to their whole conversation.
They got up. While leaving he saw Pratigya talking on the phone with someone, Who can it be, friend, boyfriend? I wonder if she has a boyfriend?! i think it is...Thats why she looks so happy.
Krishna reached Chandu's place, it was a big house. His family was quite wealth off but not as rich as Krishna's dad. The door was wide open so they walked in, they were always welcome here. His mum was in the kitchen and she noticd them come in.
"arre tum dono, kitne dino baad aaye he...Chandu to yaha nahi he, kuch kaam he kya?"
Krishna asked her if she knew what has been happening. She looked confused.
"wo aunty Chandu kuch ajeeb sa act kar raha he..pata nahi,mene socha ke shayad tum jaanti ho...koi pareshani he kya"
She laughed, "arre baba nahi, use pyar hua hai...usse tum dono ko nahi bataya??"
"WHAT😲" Krishna and Tunna said, Love, he is in love?😲😲
"ha kitne mahine hua he, pata nahi kese mila, kab mile..naam bi nahi pata...Chandu to kuch bhi nahi kehta hai muje....me tumse hi puch ne wali thi, lekin tumhe kuch nahi maloon....usse aaj hi puch lena aur sab details lena...muje bhi dekhni he ke meri hone wali bahu kesi he" She said, with a serious look.
"accha aunty ab hum chalte hai, Chandu ko mat kehna hum aaye te, hum baad me baat kar lenge"
Krishna & Tunna walked out, they were shocked. "Bhai tume bhi pyar aur ab Chandu ko bhi...mera turn kab aayega bhagwan?" Tunna said looking up.😆😆
Krishna smacked him on the head, "arre pehle pata to lagwane do maajra kya he, aur humse baat chupaya kyu?...ye to nahi banta hai...aaj hi pata karna hoga" He just could not believe one of hid best friend hid this fact from him.
Pratigya quickly walked away from Krishna's room still in shock as to the way he was acting. Her arms were quite sore. She looked at her arms and was shocked to find it was red. Everything was so intense inside, she didnt even realise his grip on her was hard.it seemed to sting even more now.😭
She looked around the main room to see some guy watching TV, she didn't sre him there before. He looked at her and suddenly picked up his phone and was talking to someone. Weird.
"arreee dii tum yaha ho, mein kab se dundh rahi thi...kaha ti tum?" Komal came from the same direction Pratigya cam from.
"umm wo mein..." She stutterd. She didn't know what to say, she didn't want to mention what happened with Krishna, otherwise Komal would get angry at her brother. No matter how much she doesn't like him, she would never intentionally hurt someone's relationship. She quickly hid her arm in front of Komal.
"ok whatever, rehne do...mere saath aao, me apna room dikhati hu.."
She took her to her room, which was next to Krishna's. It was big, and kind of similar to the other rooms but the only difference being it has things that a student has, books bags etc.
Komal went out of the room excusing herself again, at the same time she got a phone call from a withheld number, She picked it up...
"hello?"
"omggggggggg pratzzz..." It was Shreya.
"omg shreya man i cant believe its you, i tried so much to call you, it was showing you as unavailable" Pratigya moved from Komal's room and in to the hall.
"im soooo sorry darling...i have been busy..guess what?!" Shreya screamed.
"what??? Tell me quick...i need some good news" Pratigya was excited.
"im coming India soon..."
"omg when?!" Pratigya had reached the main room and he saw Krishna there with the same man, she didn't pay much attention.
"a week" Pratigya was excited. She didn't notice Krishna looking at her intently. "ok shreya give me all your flight details, i will come get you...i have to go pick up my sister now, take care"
She quickly sent a text on her mum's mobile explaining she is going shopping with Arushi & Komal and will come back in few hours.
Komal came as the same time as she finished her phone call to Shreya "di kiska phone tah,boyfriend?" 😉
Pratigya laughed, "nahiiiii....its my friend Shreys from London, wo next week India aa rahi he"
"kya, really...thats so cool di...another girl from London...me hamesha London jana chahti thi, lekin papa never let me because he doesnt believe ke ladkiya abroad parne ke liye jana chahiye."
Thats a weird reason, "lekin kyu, that is stupid.."😕
"pata nahi, dad didn't even want me to study after 7th...lekin Krishna bhaiyya ne dad ko force kiya...aur dad baba ke baat sunta hai...thank god for bhai, agar bhai nahi hote to me bhi ghar me beth kar khaana bana rahi hoti" She looked upset, was she talking to her brother? I need to know.Pratigya wondered
"aww Krishna ne aisa kiya?, that so sweet of him.....waise tum Krishna se baat nahi kar rahi ho kya..?" She couldn't resisit, she had to ask.
"nahi abhi nahi hui...aur me baat karna bhi nahi chahti...bhai ke ye tevar bohot ho gaye hai, i cant take it.....ab rehne de yo baatein di....humme arushi ko lena jana he aur fir shopping baaki he and reherseals....by god, so much left"
Dont know why but Pratigya felt something inside when Komal said she didn't want to speak to Krishna, she felt guilty that siblings are fighting and that the reason is her. She wondered this through out the whole ride, but forgot about it when arushi came out to give a huge news.
"diiiii i ave some great new for you, you will love it...okay so mene principal ki baat sun li aur usko ek nayi teacher chahiye..."
Pratigya interrupted... "ummm arushi darling....teacher and me are you crazy girl?"
"diiii let me finish.....soo anyways ye teacher for dance! Hum sab students ko sikhaane ka chance aur waise bhi mene principal se baat khi ke tum hamari item me main lead hogi....aur kal tumko school bulaya hai, ye raha letter"
She passed an A4 sized letter to Pratigya, she coudnt believe it, it was only a week she was in India and it was a higly possible chance she has got a job, she read the paper in shock, looked up at Arushi and hugged her. "woah Arushi, this is awesome, you rock"
"OMG" said Komal. "ye to bohot acchi news hai..tum school me bhi hogi....awesome yaar"
"yea, lekin kisse se abhi baat nahi kehni okay....especially not mummy papa aur dadi...if i get the job then me khud bataugi"
"diii "IF"...if ki baat hi nahi hai...you will definitely get it 100%..." Komal said, and Arushi agreed.
"okay chalo shopping chale..."
They went shopping and bought ther costumes. Pratigya had paid for everything, she had quite a wealthy amount of money saved up, she had always kept it incase of emergencies.
After their little shopping spree, they dropped Komal home and headed home themselves.
As soon as they entered the house,
"aagayi maharani.." Pratigya stopped and looked forward, her dadi and parents were standing there. Dadi with an angry expression and parents looked upset & worried.
"ye koi time he aane ka.." Pratigya looked at the time it was only 3pm , seriously? Its not going to be dark anytime soon.😕😆
"what?!" Praatigya was confused, she didn't understand why her dadi was acting like shes being bitten by a dog all the time.😕😆
"angreji me baat mat karna...kaha thi tum aur itni der kyu lagayi....pata hai..."
"dadi mene pehle bhi kaha tha ke me aru or komal ko drop karne wali hu aur mama ko text message bi send kiya ke me shopping ja rahi hu aur late aane wali hu.?" Pratigya was pissed off, why do they question her evevry move? It's like they think i have a bad motive. Why isn't mum defending me?
"nahi jhooth bilkul jhooth...bahu ko message aata to hame kehti...besharam ladki!..." She turned to Naina, "mene kaha tha ke isse London pe mat rakhna, dekho ab...tum dono ki faisle ne kya kardiya he Pratigya ko, maharani samajh thi he apne aap ko... isse kehdo key yaha ye sab asisa nahi chalta hai, yaha kuch kaida kanoon hote hai...sab samaaj me baat karege, izzat ka falooda ho jayega..."
"Oh come on, what is this rubbish seriously...i was better of in London..."
"Paatigya" Her dad screamed, and he looked angry and shocked
"kyaaa kaha isne....muje gaali di shyam..hai na....apne dadi ko gaali deti hai, chee chee...pata nahi kese din aagaye...muje bhagwan ne utaah kyu nahi diya..."
Pratigya started laughing, omg seriously it's like an ekta drama, they should make a serial out of my life...gosh
"Pratigya, dadi se aise baat karte hai, maafi mango"
"Nahi mum, nahi maangu gi....im not a liar, i told you in front of your faces, and if your don't believe it tough because i sure as hell wont sit here and be accused of random stupid thing.............mum i sent you a text few hours back explaining everything and still you didn't defend me"
Pratigya was dejected, upset mainly at her mum. why is mum doing this to me? and she started walking up the steps and in to her room. Naina tried to stop her,
"Pratigya mujhe koi text nahi....."
She didn't get to finish off because of Dadi. "Bahu rehne do, jaane do use aur jaldi is ki shaadi karaado...."
Pratigya didn't bother listening to anything else. She entered her room and slammed her door so hard; she could feel the floor vibrate. Seh threw all her bag on the floor in anger, jumped on her bed and started to cry hard. She was pissed, angry, upset at her parents, her dadi and Krishna!?😭 i hate it here!!😭
