Sunshiners this is your chance to advertise field of psychiatry and patients like mili needs to be admitted till they become normal so they don;t rack havoc in their family members lives.

Arre yaar...if they seek medical help, Mili will cause the doctor harm...after all wo jungli billie hai naa!😆I guess her family is too scared...what if Mili turns the doctor mad just like her. I bet, even if she consults a psychiatrist, the psychiatrist will out of fear, run out of the city just like the mice ran out of Babylon because of the bagpipe player.😆

Reshma i disagree with u here, all that is happening her is not a typical middle class kind of life and it is out of the ordinary.
you dont see girls getting pregnant and their mothers forcibly marrying them to other boys.(neetu) you dont see sons trying to kill their fathers(anuj), you dont see sisters trying to trap their own jeejus and behaving like vamps(psycho mili) . you dont see mother in laws like manju treating damaad like dirt. In middleclass households damaads are treated with utmost respect.
I agree with you only on the fact that KB started of as a very different serial to begin with, compared to others but has horribly gone wrong in showing middle class life . The downward spiral of KB has been so rapid that most of us have been caught unaware and are now aghast at what has happened.
As for simis hairstyle and clothes all of us want her to look different no doubt, because she is an educated working delhi girl. Most working delhi girls will have some some sense of fashion no matter how simple they are. She also happens to have a handsome, loving husband who loves her no matter what she looks like or dresses like.
But bashing the show has to be done, because it is not a true representation of middle class life, actually any class. IT IS A SHAME, SHAME, SHAME AND A DISGRACE FOR ANY CIVILIZED SOCIETY.

I truly feel they should take her to the psychiatrist

Milli is obsessed with Abhi and she thinks if he admits he loves her it will be over and done but she truly has some problem since she thinks abhi has feelings but its soo one sided...

Poor guy i truly feel sorry for his state..

Simi could never think her sister wud be like this

Maybe its built up long back since she came to know Simi confessed her love to Abhi when he had come with the shop documents

And since Vishaal was'nt around the only attractive guy who used to talk to her was Abhi...

She truly needs treatement !!

The channel and writers have entered this domain.
Mili develops feelings for her BIL Abhi.
Abhi tells Simi that all her behaviour is due to the mental trauma that she underwent. In fact partly it is true. Its possible.
Mili suffered a lot:
Attempted rape
Cancellation of Roka with Vishal whom she had actually started liking
Vishal leaving the decision to her and leaving her alone
The FIR issue and Nakul defaming her in front of her friends and her family asking her to think about Neetu-Omi's wedding/divorce
Neighbours taunting her on the road
Nakul kidnapping her and forcing to give a statement by torturing Abhi and Simi in front of her eyes.
Sudden shock of her surprise Roka with Vishal whom she does not approve.
Inability to cope with the fact that she has to leave to London and forever be away from her only support and companion which she has found in Abhi.
But the channel/writers have just brought this in for the sake of curiosity and TRP. It has taken this turn. There is still a chance to revive the show by touching upon the aspects of seeking professional pychiatric help in spite of the fear of the society which will brand a young girl as being insane or on more clear terms to label her as MAD.
An understanding, educated and loving sister and BIL(Simi and Abhi) should not push for her marriage by paying the dowry demanded. They very well see how adamant she is. They cant do the same mistake they did with Neetu. It send a wrong message again that its okay to have feelings, its okay to pay dowry, its okay to force her into marriage.
In fact, they should have given her time to heal.
Mili should have been taken to the doctor on the first signs of absurd behaviour. In fact Mili was shown to wake up sweating profusely when she had nightmares about how nakul manhandled her, about how Omi attacked her with the gun. It is not that easy for a girl to overcome this torture. She appeared normal.
But her first signs of her inclination toward Abhi should have been handled more maturely by her Simidi. As long as Milil was free to seek Abhi whenever needed for a talk, comfort(she had yelled at Abhi when he did not turn up as promised), she was fine.
But when that only support from Abhi was being denied to her by her sister, her irritation started. When Simi clearly did not approve the way Mili held Abhi's shoulder, it was a second time she was denied . To top it all, they did not talk it over with her if she still approved of Vishal after all that happened. The engagement came as the final threat to her that she has to forever lose Abhi who has been her strength, saviour and support.
She was seeking more time out with Abhi, just to spend more time with him, she did not like the fact that Abhi left without telling her because she felt she was not a priority for Abhi or for that matter any responsibility at all. Simi confronting her again has added to her problems. She does not like Abhi and Simi being close, she wants to assert her love by making Kheer, she cares less if Simi is hurt, she tears up their picture and keeps Abhi's with her.
The first signs of abnormal behaviour has been ignored. Parents have to understand this. Abhi at 22 and even Simi at 30 is still not clear how to handle her. In actual situations, elderly/parental assistance is sought to deal with such problems. But in this story for whatever reasons to show Mili this way, the elders here; RS and Manju dont seem to care. Manju is busy worrying over Anuj and using Abhi and Simi as punch bags. RS keeps mouthing priciples and stuff but does not seem to shoulder the burden because Simi and now Abhi has taken over managing the family. He utilises every oppurtunity to romance his cute little"Manjuji"
Mili's situation may be farfetched, but it can be a possibility. Now do they really intend to address this complicated issue of post-traumatic stress issues and give us a positive end to this storyline is yet to be seen.
It would be nice to watch here again Abhi and Simi trying to get her psychiatric counseling and help her tide over this emotional disturbance minus the issues of doubt from RS, blame game from Manju, blank expression of Omi, unclear expression of Neetu, always dumb and confused look of Anuj and a constant smirk of Anita as though she has inhaled some nitrous oxide(laughing gas, thats how the edges of ones mouth twitches when you inhale this gas)
They have entered this useless misplaced feelings storyline. Wish they really intend to educate masses. Why do I have high hopes. After all, the show is made for "HOUSEWIVES" to enjoy their snack time. Which housewife in India will want to be in a classroom learning about misplaced feelings, post traumatic stress following attempted rape(by Nakul) and attempted murder(by Omi)?????????
Am I day dreaming or what???
I just thought or dreamt about a salvage from the pit they have fallen into..................................................BUT THEY WONT.
Because who cares if people learn, they will get the necessary TRPs for few weeks with this story. The ratings will go down and they bring a more unrealistic situation to raise the curiosity factor. At the end of it, channel gets their share of money, they end the storyline/drama abruptly since new shows always remain in the pipeline(I guess the PVC company has their share with them, the ones who make PVC pipes for sewerage), producers are happy(by consoling themselves as to be carving a niche...sorry I did not mean anyone particular), all of the crew behave strange, and the ACTORS are helpless and try and give their 100 or rather 200% of their potential.

i completely agree and understand what you're saying. but they all rebel societal norms. you cannot tell me there aren't women out there who aren't attracted to men they're not supposed to be attracted to.. or some who don't get pregnant before marriage. can you tell me in every household sons-in-law are treated with respect? this show goes against all norms which makes it interesting. seeing picture perfect families in every show and movie is too cliched. although whatever happens in the show IS sick...it's even clearly portrayed that it's all disgraced in their society.....this is life! that is what im trying to say. doesn't matter if it's upper class or lower class.

Reshma i dont agree with the statement u made that i highlighted " typical middle class kind of life nothing out of the ordinary" . There is nothing typical middle class of these issues and it is out of the ordinary that is why we are talking about it.
As far as these being social issues and breaking societal norms, i am not against that but look at the way the cv's are handling such sensitive issues,
* falling in luv with a younger guy - the younger guy has to continuously prove himself worthy of her why?
* getting pregnant before marriage (i dont have a problem with that if a woman wants to go ahead but she should have the maturity to handle consequences of her actions, not like neetu get married to the first available guy to dump her problems on)
* falling in love with jeeju, i have not personally seen that, but have heard it happens by a lot of people on the forum so agree that is also breaking societal norms- but what they are showing us now is not a way to handle such a sensitive issue)
* son/DIL plotting to kill father for property or wealth ok seen that happen before
* manju treating son-in-law like crap aslo seen that before but it is not common and typical of middle class life
I do not have a problem with Cv's bringing up social issues as long as they are handled well and competently. Remember a lot of young minds watch TV, there is no rating for tv shows as in movies. (adult, pg-13, R tec). What kind of message r these producers sending the society.
Always evil is winning whether it is anita, anuj, neetu and now mili. Not one of them is paying or suffering for their actions, in fact they are living a happy life. None of us want picture perfect families because that is not the way families are. At the same time no one wants to see such dysfunctional families also just because they break societal norms. this is the way i think reshma

great input. i completely agree with you when you say the cvs aren't handling it all right. if they did solve the problems in a more positive and better manner then undoubtedly people would've related more and the characters wouldnt've seem so psyched and negative. so in the end, the issues are not out of the ordinary in the common man's life...but the outcomes of them in the show are
