Firstly She didnt have to lie about herself in the first place just because she didnt mention it again doesnt mean she didnt say it at all. Secondly Just Because she cries all the time doesnt justify it. This is a music competition not a melodrama as she and a lot of other contestants make it out to be. I for one am against the AV's period. That brngs elements on sympathy and chauvanism into the voting game. To others who say that every one cries I like to point out there were singers like Jyotsana, Amey, panna who dont resort to gimmikry. Thats the kind of people who shd win.

Couple of observations.
Artists are emotional. This is highly debatable because there isnt any emperical data to support this statement. Even if it was, contestants here are not showing genuine emotion, its just sympathy gathering gimmikry. Antara is the worst offender. Meenal, sandeep, monali et al are all guilty in varying measures.I never mentioned that she is only one who cries, I just said she is the one who cries the most

Antara and monali are also guilty of trying to garner support by fudging their background

The ideal way to showcase the contest is to show performances and leave it at that. it shdnt matter who came frm where how rich how poor they were, these cloud judgement of talent.

I would say Antara is an above average talent but not nearly as good as amey /karunya or even jyotsana.
just because Jyotsana was confident and did not cry in the piano round she was voted out. where were the vouchers for talent then?

To those who say that people voting in reality contest vote on talent alone, wake up and smell the coffee. if that had been true, you would see Qazi tauqeer win fame gurukul ahead of ppl like arijit and shamit. Lets face it all the melodrama is a vote gathering gimmick and nothing more. These kids are not emotional they are very clever.
Finaly lets keep to the topic here. making personal attacks and getting abusive against the poster or his motive shows a weak argument. One need not agree with me but these are my observations and I stand by them
