i no i thought if i posted dat info everyone will panick! 😆 thats ture, dis is due to animea that causes the attack/shock of the brain beacuse the red blood cells are unable to carry oxygen to the brain howvere this is type of malaria that is common in asia does not have server symptons however it is still serious beacuse if its not treated properly it will take longer for the recovery, the brain atack that ur talking about is caused by the type of malaria u find in africa... 😊 dat type of malaria it fatal.

i think its unlikely that guru has been infected with falciparum beacuse Falciparum malaria is the most serious type of malaria and can develop very quickly into a severe, life-threatening illness.
Symptoms can develop as quickly as eight days after you are bitten. Without treatment, you rapidly develop complications, such as breathing problems, fits, liver failure and shock so guru would not have been able to get out of bed beacuse he would be seriously ill, therefore if he actually managed to do the scene on monday, it shows that he has been infected with the common malaria found in asia , with common flu symptoms, but yes, if its not treated properly it could turn nasty...

yes so people are right, malaria could be fatal, however i really thing its less likely that gurmeet has been infected by falciparum, and yes, there is this type of malaria in asia, but its rare and not so common beacuse that type of misquoto that causes falciparaum its rare in asia.....

please let him rest and get well.. we dont wanna hurry him just to make him worse... let him have a speedy recovery but at his own pace..

dont be, i posted this post to just ppl aware of Malaria cuz i mean its soo common in asia, and ppl dont no a lot about it!, it will try to keep up with his condition however there is not an update on his health :)

GURMEET IS RECOVERING!!! PRODUCERS DIDNT LET HIM SHOOT CUZ THEY SAID HE NEED REST!!!! AND THEY ARE CHANGING THE SCRPIT! OMG!!! YH!!!!!!!!!!

of course Gurmeet's health comes first...i admit maan is a very imp role in geet....but then we hv to wait till he recovers....and i can understand very well how much effort he has to put even for 1 hour shooting...i had malaria few yrs back and i know how it is....i used to get high fever with severe shivering evey 24 hours accompanied by Extreme headache (and i mean extreme with a capital E)....the worst part is that malaria weakens u like hell....u lose ur appetite totally....even drinking water is an effort...all the time i used to hv vomiting tendency and i actually used to vomit once or twice everyday....that too on almost empty stomach because i cudnt eat anything....my mom used to spoonfeed me....

and the hardest part is the medication....malaria medicine causes vomiting effects....so, the doc gives another medicine for that....it even hapnd that i several times vomitted the medicine instantly after taking it...the gud news is that u recover within 3-4 days but the medication will continue for next 15 days or so....and as long as u take medicine there will no appetite and severe weakness will prevail....

i got back my appetite and also my strength after 3 weeks....the first week its nearly impossible to get up from bed....but wen fever used to subside i used to get up and do some work...but believe me it takes a lot of effort...
and acting is no easy task....u hv to dress accordingly...apply make up, rehearse for the scene, and above all give proper expressions....gurmeet gave extreme effort for monday and tuesday's epi....but now he shud seriously rest for at least one week....

we r obviously going to miss Maan and for that i blame the CVs that they did not bank any epis....but anyhow guru's health comes first and no way shud he compromise on his health.
