Master geeta, terence and remo shouldnot be judging their own acts...i mean the choreographer would obviously praise their own acts no matter how bad it was and would always try and put down contestants from other team..its not fair to the contestants..this system is not followed any dance show except for DID

We need a fair and knowledgeable grandmaster who is qualified to judge a dance show and be able to give constructive criticisms

The rotation of contestants is also a good option..what say friends?

nah. the format is fine the way it is. the problem, however, is in the masters. the masters just need to be a little more mature and stop letting the competition bring out the worst in them. they need to learn to be a little more diplomatic and unbiased. if they achieve this, then problem solved!😉 the format has no problem. its the just the masters who need to fix themselves. but if they do start to lean towards one way, then we need a grandmaster who can bring them back upright again. so yea, if something needs to be changed, its the person in the GM seat. mithun da can still be there but we need one more person along with him, who is very knowledgeable in dance and judges fairly. thats the only change.😊

and btw, i dont want to see new masters. i love our masters. they are fine the way they are.😊

U misunderstood my post...i didnot talk about changing the masters...i just dont want them to judge their own choreographies..
how can one judge oneself..we are not mahatma's 😉 ..the judges will always be biased towards one's own act and contestants..

Grandmaster should be one who is a bit strict, should have a good sense of humour/have good knowledge about dance and should be able to give constructive criticism..

farah was good but she is geeta's maa and may be biased towards geeta but she is a good option..vaibhavi merchant is also good but not senior as to be on a grand masters seat..saroj khan is too old..no idea..

have u got any one in mind baiju

Yeah..I like this idea..We need some one as Grand Master who knows the technicality of dancing, who is unbias and all the criteria mentioned above..Also GM needs to have that aura so that the people on the show can trust his/her judgement..I had Shaimak Davar in mind but probably he doesn't share good rapport with Terence so wont be good idea..What about Prabhu Deba?
Anyway looking practically, Dada is omnipresent on DID shows.... so chance is very less that Zee will replace him😕

I agree with the rotation format. Retain 3 teams, have their acts choreographed by different mentors each week and it would be be superb if could replace Mithunda with someone more objective and who could give constructive criticism.

The current system is an ideal ground for nepotism. I hate it when the masters say he/she is my kid so of course I would support him/her isn't that what a mother/father does, support their children no matter what? All 3 have done it at one point or other and will continue doing so if the current format is retained.Utterly unprofessional behaviour.

Amazing performances are not appreciated and a good dancer is sidelined just because all three masters want to have a representative in the finale. With the change in format, hopefully we will have less rona dhona drama and more varied and amazing performances from each contestant. And Dance India Dance would live up to its name...a true DANCE show not a weekly soap opera.

I was thinking about Prabhu Deva but then I realized that because he can't speak hindi properly, that's why they didn't make him the grand master otherwise he needs to be there! : 😃
