Disappointed...SPA this year

So I know I'm a few months late, but due to being on vacations and stuff, I couldn't watch the SPA this year on time and they were instead recorded on my DVR. However, when I did watch them last week, I wish I hadn't because I was VERY disappointed.

I don't know how nicely I can say this but seriously, SPA were crap this year. There are so many awards I think SGP should've won, but instead those shows like YRKkH or Pratigya took.

Here's what I think should've happened -

Favorite Naya Sadasya - Suhaana. I understand Ishaan didn't win this one b/c he already played a role in BBB.
Best Beta - Ishaan
Favorite Sasur - Alok
Favorite Saas - Badimaa
Favorite Bhabhi - Disha or Rajni
Favorite Devrani - Suhaana
Favorite Pati - Ishaan
Sabse Khoobsurat Rishta - SO many characters in this show have beautiful relationships...they should've won it. How the heck did that goon and his evil father from Pratiga win this?

And this is what made me the most angl - HOW COME this show didn't win Favorite Family? How come that idiotic and torturous and narrow-minded family from YRKKH won this title?

According to this topic, SGP should've won most of the awards, but honestly, what's wrong with that? IMO, SPG is one of the most desrving shows and one of the best that's on air these days. How come it's so underrated?

And no, I'm not 'jealous' of the "best tv seriels" like Pratigya, Sajan Ghar Jana Hai, YRKKH or Bidaai. I don't even care for them except when they win these awards. I'd choose SGP over those shows ANYDAY, ANYTIME.

This is obviously a rant and I tried to be as diplomatic as possible but even I can see that it didn't work like that.

One was as you said, that "hottest jodi"... who never behaved or have never seen as jodi got "hottest jodi".... That result gave me clear idea about this time SP award strategy....

And i heard that Pratigya's Saas is going to kill Pratigya... means Pratigya ko jalane wali hein in the upcoming episodes.... n she won "BEST SAAS"... 🤣

So now you can understand how low was the quality of SP nominations n awards for 2010.... 🤣

Aaplogonko pata hein, after seeing that award what i prayed to God.... "Bhagvaan.... ye award dekhke Best Saas banne keliye koi bhi real life Saas aisa kuch bhi mat kare....." 🤣.... bcz if Saas do bad things, then only she will become Best Saas as per "SP 2010".... 🤣

SP is so biased and seems like this year they tried to give an award to every show so they don't seem biased! But some of their awards are so WTF especially this best saas one that you can't help but think they're biased or they simply have no idea what's going on in their shows.

As for hottest jodi, in the past it's gone to many jodis who are no longer jodis in the show (Karan-Nandini) that Pratigya-Krishna getting it when they're not really a jodi is still acceptable🤣

Instead, it should've been named "best jodi" or something. Then, I would root for Ishaan-Suhaana to win it.

Anyway, I think people never label classify IS as a "hot" or "best" jodi (even though they are great in my opinion) because they don't have those trip-catch sequences or those long staring sessions. Whatever though....I'd rather have them the way they are right now than have those cliched scenes.LOL I agree totally once again....I never got the point of a 'hot jodi' award either...but oh well...as we well know from our extended experience from watching Star One crap, HAWTNESS is what rules😛😆.....and yeah IS would never get labeled 'hot' cuz they don't show cheesy/inane/brainless crap of that sort on them....but I say to hell with labels....IS have created their own unique type of chemistry....they don't need labels....they are above all this.

I agree with your post as well. Ragini/Suhana definitely deserved an award. If anything, then she definitely should've won the best newcomer one (or whatever it's called)

About the awards that I mentioned, if not all of them, then atleast SGP should've won MOST of them. Anyways, I'm glad that Dadaji and Badimaa did win something. But still, I don't think it was enough.
