Disappointed...SPA this year - Page 3

I was disappointed with 3 cateogires...Khoobsurat rishta,fav saas and family awards....I watch most shows on SP so I think I may be biased on what Pratigya deserved or not (I dont watch YRKKH) but from what my mom sees I think Akshara deserved patni award....BUT Naya Sadasya I WISH it had been a tie between Prats and Suahana...I was like WTH Ragini deserved something👎🏼

Oh, thanks for the link. I didn't know there was a previous topic along the similar lines because I was never really active in this part of the forum. But I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who was disappointed and let down by the awards this year.

I do watch both and really like both although they're very different in tone and scope. And please, even "goons" can have interesting relationships with their fathers and really, if you watched Pratigya you'd know how many complex shades are drawn out in the Sajjan Singh-Krishna relationship.

The fact is that SGP is much more low-key than the high voltage Pratigya - they both have their appeal and sometimes one show impresses and grips viewers while another might please. Both have their followers, so while I can see where you're coming from, it isn't fair to lambast another soap.

Unfortunately, I watch both as well, because once again, UNFORTUNATELY, my mom happens to watch Pratigya and YRKKH as well as SGP. I watch those two sometimes with my mom, but those episodes alone are enough to make me realize that how they don't derserve most of the awards they win.

For example, last time I checked, the award was "best saas", not "best evil saas". How on earth can that evil saas character who plots against her daughter-in-law, curses her, wishes her bad, etc. win this award? Now, Rano might not have much to do in this show all the time, but I'd root for her anyday.

^thats what pissed me off too...HOW in the world does that Ammaji get the best saas....Rano, Badi Ma...heck even Akshara's saas deserved it more than Prats saas

Lols I've watched enough of Bidaai, YR (since my sister watches it everyday🤢) to know exactly what awards they deserved and what they didn't..and I have watched bits and bits of Pratigya and do know the main plot of the show to know for sure that Amma did not deserve best saas and SS + Krishna did not deserve sabse khubsoorat rishta award.

i also agree,SGP deserves many awards,
Suhana should have win at least one award,
her acting is superb,i love watching her,
according to me Ragini deserves naya sadasya,best devrani,n hottest jodi awards,
i've been watching YRKH,at start it was a gud show but now it's pathetic,pratigya is even worst,how can they give best saas awards to ammaji when there r soo many better like badi maa is the best deserving person for this award,
i dnt knw on what basis they've judged,on character wise or acting,
but everyone is sooo perfect n gud at their roles in SGP,
it's my favourite show,
it's sooo simple yet awesome,
ups n downs happens in every family n in almost every show they stretch the matter but in SGP the way they solve it,it's fun to watch,
i hope next year SGP will win their deservin awards,may be this year the show was quite new,
but i guess many people love this show now compared to the other shows on starplus!!!!
