The recreation room is their sanctuary, a home away from home. A place where Armaan breaks down and Shilpa is there to pick up the pieces to put it back together. Like you said I want them to talk and question each other and their beliefs which will heal him and she'll take his pain upon herself in the process. He'll only be able to heal her once he learns to see beyond his pain and misery, which seems very far off currently. He's too buried within himself to notice anyone else's emotions. Their story as when it progresses will be build upon angst, but I want that be the lowest and smallest base in their foundation.

I like what you wrote, a home away from home...if you think about it, they are already making some progress with this. Armaan's been to her home, and seen her hide those pictures, its only a matter of time before he starts putting two and two together. Granted, matter of time will probably only be after his recovery from his current desolation...when it is her who needs some support..but the point is, just as she is getting insight into him and trying to understand him better he is getting to know those little things about her too- it all goes well for them. I'd much prefer to see them get together on their own and free will rather than through any cupid (do I see you smiling😆...!) because they are similar in so many ways so you'd think they would see through the false facade. And I agree with you, A had been portrayed like that at the beginning of the show...I don't know how that angle was dealt with later on...but Shilpa seems to share a lot of similarities.

Its not the start of love or attraction from his side yet, but that she's the one who shows him what he's unwilling to see at times and also because she's a persistent one, not one to take a no for an answer.

You know, to be honest, I try watching this show without thinking too deep about the scenes but this one scene kind of forced this rather long rambling post from me. But I do see where you going at, and this approach seems really interesting and has a lot of potential and has two people who can make it look convincing...we can only hope the script does some justice ...to viewers' expectations...May be he can't stop her because it seems like she is the first one trying to understand him as a person...and by now he realises that she is basically a helpful human being who has been nice to him...and finally someone not shy of saying 'I'm sorry...'...and finally someone who forces him to look at what he has been avoiding...you know how it is when you make freinds, there are those special few who by virtue of this quality make you see more sense...and make you face those demons you would otherwise disregard and ultimately help you become a stronger. Like you said, its not the start of love or attraction from his side yet and in my view not from hers either...I'd like it much better if it was plain intrigue...because something about his draws her to him...why would anyone want to make a leap to the love boat so soon..these two have plenty of time :) But then that's probably just me.😆


A, this is so true. Exactly, as much as she wants to find that aashiq, more than that she wants to find out the reason for the way A is, his random moods, his outbursts at her. She's seen his naughty prankster side, his sweet side, his caring nature but yet she can't understand the reason for why he's the way he is and especially when it comes to her. She cannot understand the reason for his self destructive behaviour; the time after the fight when she remembered their conversation where he mentioned that it was not her fault, it was only his.

That's a good point H, she did remember that line- and it makes sense, it adds to her intrigue...

Like you said its irony how the aashiq always brings her to the room where she ends up meeting Armaan, and the irony is also that the love that she wants to witness has turned in to self destruction. I know right, its as if she is the sole witness to everything...R claims to have known him better than anyone else but by the end of this mess, Shilpa will have more insight into his inner self than R ever did. (And this is current R- the psycho in me still likes to believe the AR I <3 always had that understanding :D and no you better not try and burst that bubble!)

I loved your description of today's scene, I won't add much to it, but what stuck to me in the scene was that Shilpa was in his space telling him to live and smile and he was in turn trying to intimidate her by taking over her space.. I can sort of sense the way their relationship will be structured from this scene. Yea, the precap does sort of indicate the muddle that S will fall in, but I don't think S will find that Sid is helping A. But chalo lets see..Thats an interesting take on that scene, I like it though...oh silly you know I would have loved to read your take on it..., damn we are over analysing all this crap. :D I don't know, we need to see more of what they were hinting with the precap before we start making assumptions, for the sake of our sanity, I say we wait on that.

Like you I also hope the recreation room is their fire escape minus the cheesy dupatta sequences and cornering for kisses. :P Cheese(y) is good, why would I ever refute such a thing! No clue :P

I want this to become a place where they both talk, just talk about everything and anything. And I want some more meaningful scenes, this week in terms of content hasn't been so bad. I shall bother you with my ramblings in our sanctuary. ;)Something to look forward to :D It better be there soon.

After watching today's episode, I think he's going to take even longer to get out of his desolation and destructive behaviour than what I initially anticipated. These creatives are going to milk this track just to keep the AR forever fans slogans going. I don't mind the angsty Armaan as much, as I mind the going around in circles phase. I don't want this show to become regressive again. All that aside, I can see what you're saying about him getting to know the little things slowly...like that religious procession thing that they showed in precap for instance, could have done without the flying dupatta though. :P One thing in today's epi that came to notice; A acted really cold towards her in the recreation room and then thereafter at the reception, he seemed completely oblivious to his earlier cold behaviour towards her. They haven't yet reached that comfort friendly level, I am not saying that he should have behaved like a ruthless meany towards her, but in most of their interactions till now, he's been taking her for granted. He seems to be taking out all his anger and misery on her, sometimes she doesn't really help the matter either by barging in on his space. So as I was saying, it seemed a bit odd to me..and it is more than likely that I am reading too much in to this show again. :S God help me!!

Believe it or not, I was smiling, big goofy waali shmile... :D And anyway cupid ke pass time nahin hai, he's too busy with a certain one Ms Cherry blossom. ;) Hmm.. they both are similar in more than one way, I think S has been able to see beyond his mask, but he's yet to do that coz he's can't see anything beyond his grief and pain. True Aru, he knows that she's helpful and makes him realise things that he disregards, but do you think he considers her as his friend, I don't think so somehow. Yea, he's stopped being ignorant towards her, and realised that she's a type who thinks your business= to my business. He knows that her heart is clean, and she means no harm, but friendship I am not so sure. I think at times more than friends, strangers do a better job of making you realise things unknowingly or knowingly.

I don't want them to sail the love boat anytime soon either, they need to get to know each other, she needs to find out his past, and may be he does too. I want understanding and trust between the two, that was amiss in AR's relationship. Its wishful thinking from out part about her not starting to fall for him already, it would be nice if its just intrigue like you said..:P But I think its pretty much evident from the way these creatives are thinking that she's starting to feel something for him, I just hope it doesn't turn in to love very quickly, like it did with A and R. Fine I won't burst your bubble..but you know my take on AR love and their understanding. :P I agree though that Shilpa will know him much better than R ever did. I am going to bring in Devdas here. (you know why😉) Paro always claimed to know Dev better than anyone, I disagree I think Chandramukhi got to know him much better. I won't say anymore here, but like wise I think S will know him better than R ever did.

Yes I'd rather watch such scenes of them together as opposed to some bumpy bike ride or some push and shove.

Although I must admit a few far in between will be a nicer novelty than watching a different version of it every episode, which is what they had originally...where such scenes were nicely spaced out and not over done...so it had the audience captivated.

We do tend to analyze and perceive scenes as we want, and I'm sure we are all guilty of over-analyzing some scenes. But I was actually discussing this with Huma the other day, that we should at least try to do that in keeping with the current track and also what the future might be hinting towards. A lot of the posts on the forum do analyze but their spin is usually very different from the current track.

Everyone sees what they want to :P. I agree with you though, as long as there is a semblance of some sanity, it makes it easier otherwise...most of the times, I've been skipping scenes or even entire episodes...but with this its given some fodder to hold on to...

Enough of my spiel on that, but ever since Shilpa entered it has actually been a bumpy ride for KaSh fans. I know you got back to DMG for KaSh like many others, and we were all expecting something very good. But as I said before, it's been a bumpy ride; however I do feel that it might be smoothing down now.

Agreed, I havent been watching this show for the longest time and back because of the reason you mentioned. It's been a bumpy ride on a bad bike😆....all sorts of problems...and I think we have to tone down our expectations because it won't be as fresh as it was two years ago...having said that, there are glimpses of what can be good.

Lol the reference to PM wasn't any sort of insinuation for an update. I honestly do find parallels between the rec room and Armaan's cottage now, and all because of this post. On another note, I'd love an update, but I have another friend whose been making me wait much longer than you so yours doesn't seem that bad.

That's nice of you to do draw those parallels - so I am excused from an immediate update? Not that I have written anything yet (assuming its safe to disclose that here😛)

Hmm yes I want them to share some "exclusive" moments together, moments where they can share their past with each other. It sounds like a rehab of some sort, and maybe that is what it is, but I think both have a lot to share with each other. And this sharing can help them both make peace with their past.

Rehab seems like a fitting word, actually perfect given the SBB segment & precap, it looks like Shilpa will be using it too pretty soon. And this time, it will be Armaan looking on perplexed from the sidelines and hopefully share a few words that will shooo her worries away...

Something that irks me is how Riddhima keeps asking Armaan to "forget" her and the past. I'm not expert in love, and I've never experienced this, but why does he have to forget her or her memories? Can't he cherish them and look back on them as a beautiful period, as opposed to erasing them? I think that Shilpa with her love and care for Armaan can make him move beyond Riddhima's memories. She can show him that life offers second chances and he doesn't have to outcast himself as some desolate loser.

I don't know what to say - ideally that sounds perfect but she operates on a level which is hard to understand. Eventually, Armaan will (I hope anyway) look back at the time spent with her as precisely that and be happy with his present...

Armaan's always been an outcast...nobody have ever really understood him and he's always hidden his feelings. Armaan might have changed in his relationship with Riddhi

That's him, for the longest time, it was only Riddhima which brought a semblance of stability in his life and thus the change. I think the difference between then and now (when he first enterred Sanjivani) is that his wounds are far deeper...

Yes I do believe pain is the theme of the ArSh love story, and as you said they started off very differently but I see the future as this very mature relationship that is full of understanding and trust for the other person...something which AR lacked (b/c of Riddhima).

I'm not sure if you know this, but Shilpa is Riddhima's sister, so I really feel that through this sister track we will get to see ArSh come closer together. Shilpa may have already fallen for Armaan, but Armaan might finally understand her through this sister track. For Shilpa to understand Armaan, I think it's a matter of the aashiq's identity being revealed. However as I said before I'd love for these two to become friends and just talk to each other, as opposed to some external situations proving to them how similar they are.

I've read those articles, and I am aware of that angle. They are surely building up to that track, but before that, Armaan and Shilpa will know eachother a lot better (not necessarily from a romantic point of view) than others will...Lets sit back and see where they steer the ship :)
