Today's episode was highlighted by a wide array of emotions.

ANGER: With the coming of dawn, Amma stopped Prats's entry into the kitchen. Not willing to lose the opportunity to give her a verbal lashing Amma spat her venomous words in Prats's face. She told Ganti dadi to stay out of it when she rang her bell showing her disapproval of Amma's insults. Amma continued with her verbal onslaught and reminded Prats that Krishna may still have given her a place in his bedroom but she had no room in that home and she didn't want to so much as see Prat's shadow in the kitchen. Piasiya took pleasure at Prats's hurt and Kesar nervously watched. Looks like SS is going to be the one to pay the price for Amma's decision. He is going to be fed saltless, spiceless, tasteless food yet again. Serves him right for teaming up with his villainous wife.👎🏼

ANGST: Prats's ran back to her bedroom but this time she stopped short of getting to her spot on her bed for Krishna was already there his face registering angst. Forgetting her own hurt for a moment,👏👍🏼 she tried to cheer up Krishna asking him to get ready for breakfast but Krishna just sat there in silence. She was finally paying attention to his feelings👍🏼 and told him she understood she had hurt him and that he couldn't bear it. She said the kidnapping was not her fault. True! She pleaded with him to try and understand her. She admitted she had hid secrets from him for a few days but she was compelled to do so. She had been been completely disgraced that's why everything seems like cheating to him. She explained that family got scared and bec' of this fear she didn't tell him the truth. She asked for his forgiveness now and asked him if her plea not mean anything to him? When Krishna didn't respond Prats cried silently and Krishna reacted by wiping away her tears before he pulled his hand away.👏

ANXIETY; Back at Shamu's Dadi enquired if he was well. Dadi assured him that as long as Krishna was with Prats nothing could hurt her. Komal came and scared them a little with her taunts about Krishna not forgiving Prats. Adarsh watched helplessly as always while his father and wife continued their verbal battle. Komal bragged about her family's big heart and unable to contain himself Prof. angrily told her he knew well about the magnanimity of her family. She reminded them she was pure gold but yet they treated her poorly. Nainaji stopped Shamu from making things worse with Komal. Will the Shamus ever give up 😲looking for a reason to be miserable all the time. It's tiring as heck.

ADVOCACY AND ADVERT: Adarsh told Komal not to talk to his father disrespectfully again. He gave Komal a piece of his mind. He defended Prats and said nothing wrong happened to her she was kidnapped by Angad. He reminded her they shared the same room night after night, the world may think they were intimate when in fact the truth was far from it. Good going Adarsh bhaiyya!👏 For once you spoke like a man with a mind of his own and what a lallan top example that got Komal's attention.

AFFRONT: Amma mocked Krishna about his lack of appetite. E kounsi Amma hai, she actually rejoices in her son's despair. She taunted him about enjoying his wife's cooking and not his mother's. Did Amma forget that SS often flung the food in her face after tasting her cooking, before Prats came to their house as bahu. Amma always had an inferiority complex when it came to Prats. Jealousy always reared its ugly head. Katra Naresh couldn't get his mind out of the gutter even when he was seated at the dining table stuffing his face. He made a few crude remarks about Angad enjoying his time with Prats as Krishna stood there in agony listening to his family's painful taunts.

ASSURANCE: Unable to watch her grandson's pained face, Dadi gently took him away to her room. KN and Amma, the Takur Duo were not too happy to see Ganti Dadi comforting Krishna. These two hyenas are the worst, like mother like son. Ugh!. What a beautiful moment between Dadi and potha. Who said words were needed to communicate what the heart wanted to say? Ganti Dadi comforted Krishna. She pointed to his "PRATIGYA" tattoo and then to the picture of Seetha standing by Lord Ram assuring him that Prats was pure of body, mind and heart like Seetha. Krishna responded to her assurance and shed tears of relief on his Dadi's knees as she comforted him. What a poignant moment! Still it was hard to watch Krishna agonize over his feelings as the sparkle in his eyes had dimmed. Ganti Dadi's gentleness with Krishna tugged at our hearts, aur humko suchmuch rula diya.😭

AGONY: With nothing to do around the house, Prats went seeking some solace from Kesar didi. Being the only other kind-hearted soul in that jungle of animals in the Niwas besides Ganti Dadi, Kesar invited Prats to bare her feelings. Prats started sobbing and confided in Kesar that she couldn't bear to see Krishna so hurt and upset. He was sad all the time, didn't believe anything she said as the truth and was agonizing within him. She couldn't forgive herself for she alone was responsible for his present condition. Unknowingly she gave him so much grief, how could she give him proof that she is telling him the truth? Whatever punishment he gave her she would take it but she couldn't beat to see him so upset. Great to see Prats had reflected upon her own behavior and owned up to her mistakes. Prats has finally started seeing beyond her own aatma samaan.👏

ASSAUGE: Kesar assured Prats not to worry. Krishna was angry with you but not for long as he loved her. She reminded Prats that he had stood by her when the whole family was ready to get rid of her. She told Prats Krishna cared about her and that she loved him too, that is why she couldn't bear to see Krishna this way. She asked her to trust in God and everything will soon be alright. This woman truly has a heart of gold. Here she was married to Katra Naresh (how did this sleazy guy get so lucky anyways?) and rather than dwell in self-pity she continued to show strength in her silence. Wah beta, aap great ho!👍🏼👏😃

P.S: Prats has been FINALLY released from the dog house. She asked Krishna for forgiveness. She bared her heart to Kesar and fessed up that she ALONE was responsible for the pain and anguish that Krishna was feeling. Now she is on the right track.👏 Today, after a long time, Prats repented for her actions and showed she is worthy of Krishna's love.😳 A big round of applause for Pratigya for finally awakening to her own life in a real way! Nice to know that even in a jungle of vicious animals there is room for a couple of golden-hearted people to thrive, give comfort and spread the joy.

I love how you always build a theme for your plot. until you write it I don't see the theme when watching the show. Believe me, I am surprised with the theme that flows from my finger tips at times too, but I am thoroughly enjoying every bit of it.😃😉

I have not been posting much for the last few days because I am really savouring every moment of this ride and I am afraid too much analysis on my part will mess with my taste buds but as you and tanthya have taken the time to give us such a beautiful rendition of the plot, I thought the least we can do is post a quick comment, eh?😃 Looks like you are with Tanthya, she wants the 12 course meal served pronto, you are talking about taste buds😆😆😆😆😆 we never forget about food ever, do we?😉 Still waiting to serve the entree and everyone is already waiting for dessert. yesterday was another gripping epi, it showed so many many things. The story moved a lot in just y'day's epi. Krishna got GDadi's assurance, Prats got a clue to her feelings from Kesar, they could easily have dragged it for a week with that one, thank goodness they didn't.😃

let's start with my favourite - krishna.No surprises there.😉😃

wow, not a victim of Angad's revenge and a string of destructive choices (like pratigya) yet a victim of her suspicion and unwarranted disdain. Arhaan has captured such a spectrum of emotions in sucha grandiose manner that it is easy to salivate over and consume but difficult to digest😃. he started of being shocked and dejected, moved to being hurt, hid that hurt with his only natural defense - anger, yet the veneer of his seemingly controlled anger is not sufficient to envelope the hurt and it seeps through, visible with every breathe, every subtle twitch of hisjaw, he implodes with pain (this is way worse than exploding because the bottling up of these potent emotions with no relief valve in sight will only destroy not heal), he is so consummed by this deepset dejection and disillusionment that he ends up in a frozen trance like state where his robotic routine functions act as a much needed distraction. we see him in a trance at the beginning of yesterday's epi yet as tanthya says dawn has broken.

yesterday, there was progression in his pain.

isn't it so true about the old adage. As you sow, so shall u reap. Pratigya unintentionally and through her loving compassion towards kesar and ganti dadi created two silent yet extremely strong allies in that house. and while they cannot provide physical support (for that she has krishna) - in her darkest hour they have provided her invisible support, assistance and solace.

krishna has withdrawn very far inside. words - no matter how simple or clear - do not reach the place where he has withdrawn, only silent solace and compassion from trusted people can reach him now. pratigya is the one he trusts the least right now. he is the way that he is because his world - his image of his love, his internal belief system and his familial support structure- is off its axis.

he needs to release that hurt rather than contain it, so that he can move on. ghanti dadi is the perfect yet the most unsuspecting ally and support he could have found. her unassuming nature and her silent strength caused him to relax, share his pain and start a healing process for himself.👏. seeing a strong person like Krishna in a fetal position is gutwrenching.

I see some change in Pratigya, she still says dekho and stuff. but her tone has changed. her words are not accompanied with haughtiness and disdain but with desperation and a need for communication and understanding. while it is a little to late for Krishna, getting in touch with these humbler emotions will help her grow from a girl to a woman. kesar will be the perfect guide on her exploration as a woman. kesar is a very strong woman - that is why without any familial support (unlike pratigya) she has survived physical and emotional abuse from husband and in-laws. 👏👏👏


think I have said a lot. this weeks SBS segments seem like the story is twisting and turning again. but for now I do not want to speculate. going back to my seat in the krishna train.😃😃

All morning spent in watching, rewatching 3 moments..Krish wiping off Pratigya's tears.Dadi-potha moment, kesar-pratigya moment ...*Sigh* and still want to watch it ...I am insatiable ..😆...enna Mani adikutha ..Mera and CV's start the preparation for C of M and a 12 course feast[ from Mera ] ...I am famished !!😃 When did the five course meal become 12? 😕😲. must say I disagree with the caption of your first emo ...I would say spite and not anger ANTIPATHY, ACRIMONY, teek hai? .. I did not even know that Amma could cook..All I have seen, is her boiling milk !!

Anxiety ...I have always felt irked and sometimes sorry for Sax ..but yest I felt disgust ... the head of the family going after the new member and verbally attacking her ..had he displayed this aggro at SS house...I would have commended him ...but his taking out on SS progeny ....I just felt disgust ..

Advocacy and Advert .... I did not get Adarsh mentioning Dhoka here ...what dhoka?? was it the lawyer boycott or have I missed something ...he really is a tru blue damad of SS ..a penchant for violence hidden/suppressed by the veneer of education..

Affront ...was despicable....highlighted the cruelty prevalent in their household..


Assurance ....proved love can exist in the most unimaginable place

Agony ....the greater the agony , the sweeter the happiness !!😃
