Some conditions, like castration can really not be fixed by surgery especially if it's a genetic disorder. If it was a self inflicted castration they could probably operate on it in a time sensitive manner but with birth defects there is really no much that can be done because your body inherently LACK the ability there. So I'm sure even though they tried there is really nothing that could be done.

Plus the CVs want to show a character that is a Hijra and that's a fact - he cannot be "fixed" and he just has to live with that. How a character like that would survive and how his life goes on is what this character's probably about.. 😳

Eunuchs, or scientifically called as Trans-gender, like men and women are a seperate gender!Tamil Nadu government has even introduced this as a seperate gender in ration cards, where male is written as M, female as F and trans-gender as T.
And funny as it may sound but true that they do not possess sexual dimorphism characteristics of either male or female! They are just BLANK!
And since the dimorphic characters (would not like to name them here, please..) are more in women so they look like males and are also addressed as "he".

And yes this problem CAN be fixed by a sex change operation and artificially including genital organs as a part of their body.
This is quite popular and has converted many males to females and vice-versa and can work for eunuchs too

Coming to Yuvraaj, even he could've been a normal man if he'd have got this operation done. But this is a complicated process and would require many people to know about this and since his family is very respectable, they preferred not to expose this and let him remain like this for the rest of his life

At the risk of sounding totally ignorant here, are sex change operations available in India? I know they're available in most countries around the world, but I was wondering about India. 🤔 And to me the important thing is that for whatever reason, he has had to love with his defect and that's the struggle that we get to see through his character. 😊
