In contrast to you and Drishti, I love tragic love stories be it Devdas, Romeo-Juliet, Laila-Majnoon or Heer-Raanjha. Not that I want an end like that for Samrat-Gunjan, but it's just that true and sincere love can only surface in times like that. I knew Samrat's love for Gunjan was unconditional, but it's intensity came forth only when he became "Devdas." If you see, both Mayank and Gunjan had moved on to some extent, but Samrat's life had come to a literal end. He literally froze where Gunjan had left him.

well Sonya i love happy end stories true but i love tragic turmoil filled stories as well provided the content is good all those stories you mentioned well seen em in movies or plays but never read them of the ones i have i love Wuthering Heights, A walk to remember, love story, amidst movies the one which comes to my mind atm is Titanic they have another charm
