Am trying to understand what is going on in Pratigya serial as i am new viewer catching up with too many old episodes in one go so i could be mistaken in getting the understanding of the concept. And have started reading this forum for past one week, have to say some very good comments here that have encouraged me to write.
Didn't Krishna try anything and everything to get married to Pratigya? he tried force and he scared her enough, he got her brother almost in jail, he infact disrespected his family quite a lot with big scenes at their door everyday. So why is Krishna a hero and Angad a villain when they both were in the same team and infact Krishna was going to help kidnap Pratigya in the very beginning to help Angad take revenge! infact she was getting engaged to some other guy, and Krishna created big scenes, big enough for any real life parents of a girl feel shame!!! ....is Krishna pure himself, he was a big gunda , bigger than Angad....who is Krishna, a hero or a villain....forcing a girl to have no other rasta left but to marry an illiterate gunda..is this LOVE? i do not get it!
Why does he expect sympathy now and keeps repeating that he did so much for Pratigya!!!!
And pratigya being kidnapped by Angad..what is her fault in it? why did she have to fall on Krishna's feet today????why???it defies the whole logic of this women empowerment issue based serial......are writers listening?
so, what are we teaching the society, that women can survive best only by falling at men's feet....no matter what Krishna did to Pratigya and her family, she has to finally fall in love with him becuase she is a woman and becuase Krishna saved her from HIS OWN PARENTs???
really, i am so confused. if the serial was titled VILLIAN IS WINNER, i would have bought the story line but trying to show ads like pratigya talking back to Gundaraj and selling it like women issue based show is WRONG....
AND I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY ARE GOING TO SHOW MURDER ATTEMPTS BY IN_LAWS NOW on daily television >>>where is the sensor? do we want to spread ill in the society? and Pratigya has to be saved by Krishna to make her fall in love with him......come on......please writers please, .......is there no constructive way to make them fall in love???? couldn;t Krishna go to school for her, become a educated man, start his own business or find a job for himself or atleast start a labor union against his father's atrocities or some creative+positive action to improve and educate society......
so far from what i have seen, this show is based on fear and fear alone....i do not know how many angads this show will produce as characters like Krishna and Angad are shown as Heros here...and poor heroine can do nothing but fall at these villain's feet!!!!!!
Sorry guys, i am just too shocked that there is no attempt of making the show constructive and positive.......what about Sajjan Singh's election ticket being passed on to Pratigya and then she fixing people like sajjan singh for good and people like Angad in jail forever...and finally all kids in school mandatory in her constituency so no more Angads and Krishnas are made
