Okay so after watching today's episode, I just had to comment about this, because Mrs. Modi seems to always outdo herself. Even after all that she's done and accused both Armaan and Shilpa of, I thought that today it'll be different. But never underestimate the accusation powers of Mrs. Modi!
First she has the audacity to make Armaan come to her birthday party, something which can only bring him pain and cause discomfort for Armaan, Sid and Riddhima. Then when he's all broken up (and making those very disgusting noises), she confronts Shilpa and tells her that she understands him better than Armaan himself. Where in the world did that come from??? If she understood him, then how could she have treated him the way she has ever since he came back in March?
It was Shilpa who first came to check up on Armaan whilst the others were celebrating or dancing. Where was her understanding and care when he was at the bar? Didn't she see his pain and discomfort before? It was only the shattering of the glass which caused her to notice Armaan's horrible state.
She can harp on all she want about truly understanding him and caring for him, but I don't see that at all now, and I haven't seen it ever since Armaan came back. I'm not blacklisting her, and just as a friend in her recent topic pointed out that Riddhima is a good wife, and understands Sid alot better than she ever understood Armaan; but she also needs to be more sensitive and understanding of Armaan's feelings. Honestly, yes Sid was the one who threw the party, but I think if any one person is to blame it's Riddhima for Armaan's state.
This brings me to my second point, how could she say it's Shilpa's fault? Shilpa only lied about how he got those injuries. How does that have ANYTHING to do with Armaan's drunken state and his current pure misery? Her lying in front of their colleagues caused Armaan to explode like a volcano at the party??? If anything, it relieved Armaan of any more awkward moments in front of his ex and her husband. Not just Armaan, but I'd say SR should also be thankful to her.
I'm sorry but the blaming Shilpa bit just took the cake. I can even see some people arguing back for the first point, but I don't see how this can be justified at all.
Anyways, it seems the track is maybe getting better. Riddhima's again (this is what the 2nd or the 3rd time now?) going to make Armaan promise that he will move on. I'm guessing Armaan will again say that he will try, but will he or won't he? I'm guessing that since Shilpa's here and falling for him (and ya the SBS segments too) that he's headed in that direction. I'm not saying he will move on right off the bat, but the path clearly seems to be ArSh...
