actually if u see, all the main characters have been inconsistent in their behaviour. What armaan feels now shud have felt long ago.. may be when he realised she is married and wants to remain with her hubby.
All the characters are complex and confused just like the CVs and the viewers who like to pull each other's hair actually not bothering whether the other person sounds logic or not.
