I have to say Ridhima Modi is a bad role model! Ridhima Gupta had the image of a modern girl with traditional Indian values. the perfect barthya narie. marriage has changed Ridhima for the worse. This is not a bashing topic but i feel her character of what she was and what she has become needs to be questioned. Ridhima Gupta Would not tolerate wrong and certainly wouldn't give into wrong. But Ridhima Modi, all she does is wrong! First the circumstances in which she got married. Giving into societal and family pressure. This is not the message we should be giving to young Indians today. Secondly Attempting suicide on ur wedding day. Instead of being a coward and ending her life for Armaan, She should have stood up for her love and fought against the world! Thirdly she chose her marriage over her love thus runing three lives(she didnt once think about Armaan who had sacrifced his everything for her). Also allowing her father to influence her decisions is wrong. Yes it's important to have your parents blessings but they shouldnt interfere in your life so much. Shashank has only acted selfishly and not once thought about Armaans feelings! Ridhima needs to learn to live life on her own terms and not just to please other people because at the end of the day your not just hurting urself but others to. And now Ridhima Modi shows the audience that to prove to a man that you love him, you must sleep with him! Ridhima hasn't once told sid she loves him but is ready to surrender her body to him??? Sorry but thats not love! Why is Ridhima Modi shown as such a weak woman? And to top it all off, She claims she has moved on with sid, but her love for Armaan is clear in her eyes. On one side she keeps karva chauth vrath for sid on Armaans insistance but promises Armaan her next 6lives?? She has apparently moved on but the only person she can confide in is Armaan? and it bothers her that much that he hasn't wished her Happy Birthday? wow i must say the perfect Indian Women.

Again I would like to say that this is not bashing. I've constructively criticised Ridhimas character. Every point i have made is based on the ongoings of DMG.

i completely agree with u amaira
every point u made is so true...
Riddhima Modi is a different person and Riddhima Gupta completely different.
she is only trying to please everyone with wat they want
not once has she spoke up and said that she'd like to live her life the way she wants to...
she chose Sid but only cuz her dad said that she should give it a shot...and cuz she's married to him...understood she wants to give it a chance, but why does she not see that she isn't happy with that deicision
she still relies on Armaan....bday wish is so important for her...the karva chauth was told to her by Armaan she didnt do it from her heart it was just cuz Armaan told her

hopefully we get our Ridz back!

Riddhima died for me the day she married sid. She is def not the same riddhima that was portrayed from the beginning. Her character has changed significantly for the worst.
