DIA BHUSHAN - then and now :)

I was kinda looking around for a smilar topic..but cudnt find one, hence thought, might as well make one .. 😳 mods please close if thers already a similar topic!

I was always fond of dia..even in the initial days when she acted all bitchy n kabab mein haddi b/w SG .. 😆 because I cud always feel for her..sam was HER best friend until gunjan entered his life..n suddenly she cud see that her place in his life was being snatched by her cousin..who acc to her cud in no kind words even match upto her standards! Navina played this soo well ..n every emotion she expressed really well..although initially she appeared a bit OTT to me..her character was always touching.. I loved every bit of it..her teeny-weeny crush on sam..n then later on how it fades into nothingness..but what still remains is their friendship, n the way they try to be ther for each other, no matter what ..

then came in the phase of RV..I had expected a LOT from this phase..I had wanted a complete character growth/graph of dia..but unfortunately tht didnt happen..cuz RV was dedicated to sam's realisation .. 😆 but it still revealed a lot abt her character..tht despite being the DIVA..how vulnerable n naive she is from within..

then came in the BeNia phase...oh so adorable! 🤗 LOVED them both..I always thought he cud balance her..n I was sooo excited when they began BeNia..but alas they had to ruin it midway too ( this is strictly my POV .. 😳 ) .. wit their sudden confession n getting together..I wud hav loed it if they had given a bit more imp to their storyline .. but they ruined it for me .. however, it was cute, the way they wer sort of getting attracted to each other despite their visible outward differences in every possible way ..

all in all, Navina as dia in college, has been absolutely the miss attitude kinda gal..not thinking much before speaking type .. who wud frankly give her opinions on most of the things in this world ..widout really thinking if it wud hurt the other person or not..n not at all the typical girl-next-door or the 'girl a guy wud love to take home'😆.. yet, having a heart of gold ..

n now three yrs later ..

the dia that they hav potrayed to be..WOW! I kinda lost words when I saw her..because although it was something tht I hadnt thought abt when I wud hav prob imagined how dia bhushan wud end up to be like 3 yrs later, every reaction of hers made me feel like "oh yes ofcourse! thats how she wud be!" to her being a fashion designer n travelling all over the world, like mayank put in "dia fshion ke baare mein itna sab kuch jaanti thi..toh woh fashion designer nahin toh kya astronout banti?" 😆 n her belief in spirituality n tarot..her immense positive attitude n optimism .. everything is sooo amazing .. LOVED her characterisation ..

and Navina has done a FAB FAB job .. 👍🏼 from the college diva..to the young woman .. she has changed her style, her body language..her dialogue delivery..her expressions..EVERYTHING! way to go, gal! 👍🏼

I wish she cud stay for more than a month...but m loving whatever lil time she is in this show .. 😳

I totally agree with u mads like with each and every word u said it describes dia perfectly. I have always loved her character and navina is brilliant in potraying the growth in her character. I was spellbounded seeing her after the leap, the look, the optimisism, the fashion designing part it all fall into place and gives us such a strong character. Truly hats of to navina for potraying the college diva, to the naive and innocent girl, to a sweet friend, to getting attracted to benjy and than finally to this religious,positive fashion designer. Loved the journey and kudos to navina!

well i agree....i always liked navina..actually even diya...i dunno why maybe cos she was a nice girl just a bit insecure but not negative!
the RV phase...i hated him-but it showed a very sweet thing that even a girl like diya could get her...but after that i started loving her even more....
i always wanted her with Benji!!!i just dont know why since day one!!!and when thier story started...bouy i fell in LOVE with them-but again the cvs ruined them with the sudden confesion etc...thier awesum track wasnt handeled well...

i always used to think diya will remain her shreaky dominating self if MJHT ever took a leap...but the new calm composed and compasionate diya has charmed me again!!!
im a little sad to think that its just a cameo...
but still im gald to see navina back!!!shes doing an awesum job!!

DROOL.. 😍 its DAAAMN adorable !!! I think its made by maddy .. dunno her exact username now..but its made by her..its ultra cute .. 😳 my fav bit is the part from 1:06 to 1:18 .. 😳 they both look sooo adorable here even tho the scene isnt all tht 'romantic' in the sense .. but they totally look the 'made for each other' type .. 😳

Lovely post and I agree with you too. Diya's always been very natural... Anyone would've reacted the way she did when Gunjan came into Sam's life.... Like all of you, I was very upset when she was hardly shown after the RV incident. I thought we could have had wonderful BeNia bonding scenes, with Diya expressing her grief and Benji giving her support.....

Diya's new look is amazing. She looks so cute.... I was really looking forward to a Samrat-Diya scene post leap, and I hope we get it soon.... Diya's always given Samrat wonderful advice, and yesterday she gave some to Gunjan too. I loved the fact that Samrat addressed her as Candy even now, and their hug was soo sweet.

And Navina's doing awesome. Just wish this wasn't a cameo.
